Texas Furniture, Volume One: The Cabinetmakers and Their Work, 1840-1880, Revised edition (Focus on American History Series)

This book is a "must have" for any collector of Texas made furniture. I had a copy of the original publication, but wanted this new one so that I might share it as needed, as the first edition is now quite valuable. Lonn Taylor has done an excellent job, and I look forward to receiving Volume II when it is published this fall!

This is the second volume of Texas furniture. I like it much better than the first as it has beautiful color pictures. If you are interested in 19th C Texas, this is for you.

A well written, well researched epic book on the history of Texas furniture. A truly fascinating and rewarding study. Congratulations to Lonn Taylor
