Excellent quality and very practical for everyday use. It heats up quickly, cooks evenly, and makes sandwiches, paninis, and grilled snacks perfectly. I love that it’s compact and doesn’t take much counter space, but still feels sturdy and well made. Easy to clean and very convenient when you need something fast. A great little kitchen appliance to have!

5/5 stars on every level! I stand by my reading. I've spent a lot of money, on simmer items over the years. I took my sweet time, reading reviews, good and bad, helping me to replace this one my favorite appliances. I opted for the more expensive, of the chef man, I think it was like $100 difference. I believe it was because of the digital display on this unit. The price difference between units was significant. I took a chance as I always do with some great products. You know people say you get what you pay for, I was a little bit worried at the price difference between the models. You cannot go wrong, if you are in the same position that I was regarding quality of our price. Granted this model is a bit more expensive. I'm very proud of myself that I went with my got and got this model! You need to check in some cue points when you're looking at the same type of item. This model you have the capability of selecting different heat types. Which was honestly the reason I purchased this model. How do I know the other perks and amazing features of this model, I would have selected by now hands down. This model allows you to do open face grilling... Which I'm not seen on any other models. So you could just open device and it's like you're on a grill outside with the ridges while knowing the heat. The reason I purchased this was because when I realized, you can simply turn the grilling plates upside down and you have a full griddle. As a cooking service. That means you can do pancakes or eggs along the side of your other grilling options. I would buy this appliance over and over. Which is now my go-to for a wedding gift for anyone I care about! FYI, when I originally was searching for George Foreman grill replacement for myself.... What a pleasant and unbelievable suggestion! I think just buying one for yourself, if you have the aforementioned like George Foreman, can't do a griddle and grill on one of those units. You're busy You'll definitely be the jealousy of a party! What a great product and I stand behind that, and you'll also be able to say the same! Amazing

Got this to replace an old Foreman grill that decided to violently let go of the magic smoke one day. I love the removable cooking plates. So far I have used it for cooking chicken, pork, steaks, bacon. The only thing that has caught me off guard is how fast everything cooks on this - I go to cook a couple of steaks and before the baked potatoes are done the steaks are fully cooked! If you cook a lot of meats for one or two people do yourself a favor and get one of these. It's a lot easier to use and clean than a frying pan on the stove top.

Our family absolutely loves this Chefman 5-in-1 Digital Panini Press Grill! We use it almost every day — from delicious paninis for lunch to perfectly grilled chicken, veggies, and even breakfast pancakes. It heats up super fast, and the digital temperature control makes it easy for everyone in the family to use, even the kids. The reversible plates are a big plus — easy to remove and clean in the dishwasher. We also like that it opens flat to make a big grill surface for family BBQ nights indoors. It’s sturdy, stylish, and works better than we expected. Highly recommend — this Chefman grill made cooking fun again for all of us!

I like this a lot. I use it mainly to press sandwiches and it works really well. It is easy to clean. I don't have a dishwasher so it's done by hand. I wish it drained a little better, it's ok draining but when cooking something fatty it does become a little sloppy. It seems to be extremely well made. I expect and hope it last a long time. It is also very easy to use.

Because this grill is so easy to use, I use it regularly. The floating hinge is a game changer; it makes it possible to toast even the thickest bread evenly. I’m so glad that it has a selectable temperature, rather than one pre-set temperature, like so many other grills. The removable plates make cleanup quick and easy. I really like that they are ridged on one side and flat on the other, to allow for a variety of cooking applications. The grease tray is in a great location. This grill (technically, panini maker) costs more than some of the others, but all of the features combined make it totally worth the price. So far, I’ve only used mine to make sandwiches and quesadillas; all of them have come out perfect!!! The grill is large enough to make two adult-sized subs at one time. Two quesadillas made using medium-sized tortillas will fit in one cooking, as well. (For sandwiches and quesadillas I cook at 325, to allow the contents to get hot without the bread burning.) I plan to use it to cook meats and veggies in the future.

Bought first unit and first time we used it shut off and gave an E02 message on the screen after a few minutes. Unplugged and reset several times and problem persisted. Additionally, the top plate would not release. Amazon was great and return processed quickly. Thinking this was a one off thing we ordered another, our second, based on the great reviews. The replacement arrived and we unpacked the unit and it clearly had been used before. Fingerprints on the instruction manual, food dried on the cord, missing warranty card. Okay, not ideal but it was on sale and it had great reviews. Washed the grill plates, dried them and ran a quick test. Seemed good. Next day heated up using the sear function, threw a steak on the grill and the blasted thing shuts off. Nothing. No lights, no more heat. Dead…. Reset the GFI , nothing. Moved it to another outlet….nothing. Plugged in another appliance, a hot pot, to make sure we hadn’t lost power to all the outlets and it came on and started heating. Plugged the Chefman grill back into that same outlet….nothing. Second return. Buying another brand. Chefman….stay away from them.
