It works. And well!
I am genuinely amazed you can get so much for so little! For the price I was expecting something incredibly basic but this has all the features I need and one I didn’t know I did.It doesn’t mention it in the listing but when you fit the portafilter cradle the machine swaps to timed grind mode. Inserting the portafilter starts the grind and if you manage to dislodge the portafilter it pauses and restarts at the same point once you’ve relocated it.Grind quantity remains consistent (to the accuracy of my scales!) between uses provided you use the bellows to push the last of the ground beans through.I haven’t experienced any problems with static and for what use it for (espresso) the controls are intuitive. My only complaint is it could grind a little finer. My espresso machine seems to like a very fine grind, setting ‘1’ produces a good tasting espresso but the crema is a little thin; if it went down another two steps I think that would be perfect.I’m sure there are far superior grinders out there but they aren’t £80!

Simply brilliant!
Bought this to replace my 5yr old Bodum Bistro, that made over 7000 cups of coffee before the grind button stopped working. This machine is a revelation. It grinds effortlessly, more so than the Bodum did. Even though it has a 3 pin plug, it couldn't possibly be earthed, the cable is only thick enough for two inners. But static isn't a problem. Here's a tip if you are having issues, kitchen sinks are usually earthed, just tap on it to earth yourself before making your coffee. I wear Crocs inside the house, they are a devil for building up static electricity. The bellows supplied really do work! I leave it on top of the bean hopper permanently, with the cap on top. Just pump twice after every grind, all the coffee is now deposited. I leave mine plugged in permanently. It then remembers its setting. When not used the screen goes into standby, leaving just the led lit on the grind button. The 2cup setting works for me with the amount I need for one mug of coffee. This machine is terrific and I highly recommend it! No idea how long it will last however, but at this pricepoint, its worth taking a chance on it!

Great piece of kit
I'm sure more expensive ones will get you better results, but I have nothing to complain of this machine after 3 months of use. It's easy to clean, fast, easy to use. A great upgrade from a manual grinder. It'll be worth buying cleaning brushes to get into the hard to reach places. I just bought a Sage Bambino Plus and found that unfortunately this machine doesn't offer 54mm portafilter support out of the box, so I'll be trying to find some attachment to use with it, otherwise I'll find another way of dispensing the coffee grounds because there's no reason to get another grinder in my opinion, this works great. If you've never ground coffee (freshly roasted coffee beans from one of many online providers), and are considering it, do it. The taste difference is unreal.

Good value, with some static
Incredible value. Easy to use, and can grind very fine with good consistency. Not the quietest, but far from the loudest. Simple design, and a decent size for my countertop. One point to note: it seems to generate quite a bit of static, so beware of flying grounds, and retention. Hard to fault at this price point, however.

Fine enough for lovely espresso
For the price I was worried about the grind not being fine enough for espresso. But after seeing the majority of glowing reviews I took the plunge and I'm glad because this machine makes a great espresso grinder. With supermarket beans it's not going to make much of an upgrade. But with freshly roasted beans you will get the espresso you have been chasing.Other reviews are right, the memory on the set button doesn't seem to work. Not sure why they bothered including that button. But it's not a big deal to me. For the price it still has to be a 5 star review because it's great value and delivers the grind. The accessories are actually really generous too. Including the portafilter funnel and suction cup too blow out residue grinds.
