CatEye Velo Wireless CC-VT235W Cycle Computers - Black

Fitted two of these to spin bikes. Needed a bit of handiwork to find the right location to fit it, but this is easy with some cable ties. Has never faltered since fitting a few months ago and operates in the garage which can be very cold in winter. Easy to use and see.

Great little bike computer by a trusted brand. Its simple and just shows the data I'm interested in. Data is relaible and easily accessed from the legible screen. Covers current speed & direction, overall distance, trip distance and calorie burn.The computer can be easilly installed without tools. I would make sure you get the spoke sensor, (on the wheel) as near to the reading sensor, (on the fork) as possible, this sometimes requires placing the spoke sensor nearer to the wheel hub, you want to be looking at nore more than a few mm to get relaible results, otherwise its good to go. Its also very light and compact and attches to the handle bars and fork with cable ties, the ones provided I found a little thin and used slightly thicked better quality ones to assure a fim grip, the computer can also be removed easily from the mount when not in use.

Bit tricky to fit as the mountain bike forks are quite large and the clearance from the wheel means you need to be careful with the alignment for it to pick up the magnet on the spokes. Once working though this is perfectly adequate and very good value. Docked a star only because I think they could have made 2 brackets or supplied an adapter to suit fork size rather than a one size fits all approach.

I've used this bicycle computer for about 8 months now and really like it. The functions are quite basic, but that suits me fine as it suits my needs adequately. I don't want a computer that tells me stuff that I'm not going to use. Highly recommended.

Having used multiple of the wired versions I'm familiar with these. It goes to sleep to preserve the battery so I always press the button before I head off, and it has a backlight which can be useful obviously if you cycle at night. The spec for the battery lifetime isn't great but sometimes they are very pessimistic. Top tip = is it's cheap and easy to bulk buy the batteries (the extremely common CR2032) for these things on the internet, the days of paying silly money for batteries from the local watch shop are long gone, don't do that!

Ed on here very kindly my answer super quickly, cheers mate! So yes this can be used on a solid wheel exercise bike, you just need to use different magnets, available from my most shops. I just need to adjust the wheel diameter bit, but otherwise works well. If the chassis is too thick to use the little cable ties, loop the ones that come with it and then just get another cable tie to go through them.

This cyclometer is more functionality than I expected for this price. Awesome quality and really good visibility. Perfect for road bike because it’s small and light but monitor is big enough.

Prodotto buono. Non do 5 stelle perché qualche volta ci mette un po’ a risvegliarsi dalla modalità “sleep”. È molto sensibile alla direzione del sensore montato sulla forcella. L’ho montato su una bici pieghevole e pur essendo a breve distanza dal sensore, qualche volta non si attiva da sé (bisogna schiacciare il bottone) e si finisce di dimenticarsene. Inoltre non si può impostare la lunghezza dello sviluppo metrico in mm ma solo in cm e quindi è un po’ meno preciso degli altri computer della Cateye (soprattutto per le ruote piccole di una bici pieghevole)

Excelente producto Made in Japón, calidad de materiales, buen funcionamiento y fiabilidad. Realmente es color negro. Wireless (sin cable). Tengo el mismo desde hace 10 años y funciona perfectamente. Funciones básicas. Recomendable!!!

Este "ciclo computador" ya fue usado. Tenía el embalaje estropeado e incluso un recorrido de más de 1km. Por tanto, significa que incluso las pilas ya han sido algo gastadas. Si el material está usado o es una muestra, qué menos que advertirlo para decidir si adquirirlo o no.aNo valoro la excelente calidad de Cateye, sino al establecimiento que lo vende.
