Good quality built tool! I bought these to replace my Malco brand tool that someone else decided they liked better than I did and stole them. I was a little worried to start with about the built quality and durability, simply because of the price point. However, after using these on several jobs, I’ve quickly realized that I had overpaid for the Malco brand and this tool is every bit as good if not better than the more expensive brands.

They were bought as a present but I decided to put them through a few tests before giving them as previous attempts with different brands just led to disappointment. They passed the tests and crimped sheetmetal pipes of different gauges and they fit together easily and snug. They seem like they will be easier on the hands over the long term.

Crimper feels great in the hands. Crimps 24 Gauge steel effortlessly. Robust build. Excellent product.

For my purposes this tool worked great, was easy to order and easy to use and I will now have it for the next project so I won’t have to buy an expensive transition piece when coupling heating or exhaust ductwork.

Initiated the return 22 minutes after the box was dropped at my door... As soon as I opened the box, I wasn't impressed by the feel the crimpers gave when holding them. Grabbed a piece of 28ga laying and tried them, and put them back in the box... The decision was easy when I saw the crimps at 1/32 deep. Save yourself the waste of time and buy something better.
