Do not recommend. These broke the first time they were used. Almost stranded to paddles breaking and not able to get back.

I purchased the Jashem Kayak Paddles, and overall, they're a decent backup for my kayak. The compact package and easy assembly are a plus. They're undeniably cute, but I expected them to be a bit more substantial. The high-grade PVC material is environmentally friendly, and the bidirectional connector allows for proper length adjustment, fitting various heights. The inflatable boat oar with a perfect curve line ensures effective water catching. The detachable design is handy for portability. While suitable for various watercraft, I'd prefer a sturdier build for more demanding use.

I was super impressed with how they wrapped and boxed the paddles. In fact I am going to leave them in the package so they are easy to pack. Perfect size and weight to carry as backup in case a paddle gets lost or damaged on a kayak trip. I also think these would work perfectly under the seat of a boat just in case the motor won't start which has happened to us on the lake. I like to have emergency paddles, you just never know. Great price and have a good weight to them. I am impressed.

Pretty disappointed in these. I purchased to use as emergency equipment for our Sunfish. I will have to look elsewhere I think. The listing says they are made with PVC so I expected thick material. They feel like cheap plastic and I do not expect they will last. They also did not come with any assembly instructions. I was able to put them together after a little trial and error but it's just obnoxious to not include directions since assembly requires more than simply snapping a couple of pieces together. They are small and portable. That is about the only positive comment I have. I would not recommend these.

I used it while Salt River Tubing just to steer my tube. The first day I took it out it broke. I barely even used it and it snapped in half. The price was decent and It arrived on time.

So flimsy. Small. Would only be good for a tiny children’s inflatable boat in a swimming pool. Don’t waste your money on them we threw ours out after one use.

I have a 12 foot jon boat that uses a 1979 6hp outboard. With the age of the motor I am not sure how much longer it will last, or when it may not want to start for me. These paddles are nice and small and fit in my jon boat out of the way. I tried it out this weekend and was able to move my boat along pretty good just paddling with these. So now they stay in the boat for when I go out fishing. At first I thought they were cheaply made, and that the plastic wouldn't hold up. But they ended up working just fine for me. They are a little on the smaller size, but for my small boat they will work just fine.

I used them for 10 minutes on a calm lake. One snapped in half.
