Easy to set up, allow a low shot, and mostly the overhead shot. However, however, after 2 weeks of use, two of the legs are not functional. One is locked and the second does not lock at all. It died on me during a shooting. Because I love the functionalities, I am returning for another hoping that my item is defective. It is the best value out there! I LOVE the new MACC engineering the most but I am also happy that Vanguard made the 1/4 turn locks and that there are four extensions from three. I didn't give this five stars because I think that the spikes should have been included. I also don't like that they don't have an articulating or flexible arm accessory or carry strap. Having said that, this is a great quality product especially for the price! Note: I wouldn't use this with my heaviest lenses but for my 24-70 and 70-200 low light conditions or long exposure it is great.
