Cole HaanWomen's Stassi Penny Loafer

These are beautiful loafers and they are a perfect fit! So glad I ordered them! The leather is a beautiful navy and they are very comfortable! So glad I decided to spend more and I got lovely loafers that fit like a kid glove! Sometimes more expensive is better!!!

Sized right, comfortable and cute

Are all Cole Hahn shoes sized this small? Granted my size 11 feet don’t always fit a size 11 shoe so I do have to go up to a 12 if it exists but these 11s were so small that I would have had to go to a men’s size, and I do not have wide feet. In fact my feet were always narrow until a little later in life. A woman’s 12 in these would have been inadequate. I really only size up for athletic shoes too, not sandals or loafers. I have many quality loafers from other shoe makers, Clark’s, Natualizer, Comfortise, others, that 11s are great, fit well. The shoes were beautiful but ridiculous. It’s the INSIDE of the shoe that should be cut to size 11. Not the SOLE.

I have worn a similar pair of Cole Haan loafers for years, but they’ve changed the design so that the top of the shoe comes up much higher over the top of the foot, leaving a much smaller opening to insert the foot. I always wear the same size shoe - 8.5 - but in this case I can’t get my foot into the shoe no matter how hard I struggle. The top of the shoe just rises too high. They certainly don’t meet my definition of a slip on shoe!

Unlike some of the other reviews, I ordered a 7.5 size and found these shoes to be a perfect fit. The toe box has plenty of room for my toes and the shoes are cushioned all the way through. I have a pair of penny loafers I bought directly from Cole Haan and those have some leather on the soles and in the heels. They were $30 more and I have loved them. I will grow to love these too. I have only one issue which is not the fault of the shoe. It's my left foot. It is a half size shorter than the right. Because of that, the back of my heel on my left foot rubs against the back seam of the shoe. I have very thin skin and my feet are prone to blisters. So these will have to be broken in more before I can walk around in them for a long period of time. Also, these shoes are brand spanking new. I read one review with a photo of the shoes having been used. The packaging itself speaks to just how new they are and they also have, what I call, that new shoe smell.

The product is of good quality but jeez are these shoes narrow. If the shoe is wide I wear a 6.5 (American) so based on reviews I ordered the 7 regular. I attempted to contact the makers before ordering to determine if there were actual measurements for the shoe sizes. Nope. So I went with the 7. The shoes are very narrow and a bit longer than a traditional size 7. So now the conundrum: get the 6.5 wide or the 7 wide? The shoes are a leather classic penny loafer and the leather is not too shiny, is even grain/texture, and even coloration (black). Also, free returns are only through the UPS store, not drop site. UPS pickup charges $6.00 so not a true free return unless there’s a UPS store nearby; I would have to drive an hour or more for that. Damn.

I've worn these so many times the past few weeks since buying them. They're so comfortable. After walking through airports, a few city blocks, through the office all day etc, my feet stay comfortable. They look really nice too. Worth the cost without a doubt.

Fits a little large, will wear heavier socks . Size is larger than Rockport or Bass by 1/2 size and they do stretch .the colour tan is perfect for jeans .

Bien de ancho y de largo, la piel es de buena calidad, los colores son como los de la fotografía y son zapatos muy cómodos que puedes usar todo el día sin ningún problema.

The shoes were comfortable but unfortunately it wasn’t what I was looking for. I was looking for more of a classic dressier loafer and these were longer and chunkier.
