I use these bags to pack leafy greens from my garden to give away to family and neighbors. The greens aren’t very heavy so these bags hold up to them. I only wish the bottom of the bag was a little thicker to provide more support for heavier items. The reinforced handle is helpful in providing more support.Other Uses- goodie bag for kids party (have a marker/sticker station as a party activity) kids can decorate their goodie bag and place goodies inside- take away bags after a party (people can place left overs inside)- placing baked goods inside

I really like these bags because they are well-made, and the die cut handles are reinforced. The bags are nice looking, too. The product description suggests using these bags for groceries. If the items are very light weight, the bags would be great. If heavier items are placed in the bags, like a 2-liter bottle of soda, I would be afraid of the bag ripping at the handles or the bottom giving out. The kraft paper used to make these bags is not as thick/heavy/sturdy as the paper used to make a standard paper grocery bag. There are plenty of uses for the bags and they are very nice. I simply offer a word of caution regarding the amount of weight they can carry.I really like these bags and I would recommend them.

They are about a 1/4" shorter and an 1/8" narrower than advertised. The handle reaches 2.5" down into the bag, so rigidly, you really only have 11"L x 5.875"W x 8.25"H of hidden space inside. The handles are reinforced with plastic.Do note when handling there can be a dot of light glue inside sealing the bag closed. A rough "1st open" might create a hole. This can work well for some DIY gifting, the surface is smoother than rough Kraft paper, and lighter. It took a half moment for the ink to absorb. Plain, this could come across as simple and modern. These fit comfortably two big tissue boxes. Taller items will stick out. I started *saving* and reusing this size from a takeout place. They are great as a trash bag in my car when full, fit in the back seat pocket to store a few. They fit leftovers in the narrower clamshells in a stable manner.I've had an item change on me in the far past. Whenever I have a cookout with my family, I would be the one baking goods such as fresh bread and other sweets. These made it easier for giving out bakery goods that I make, and easier for them to take home.

I mostly got these to let my children make crafts or personalized gift bags. I can tell you, they are perfect for this. They feel a little thin but they do not tear or crumple easily. I really feel pleased that we will have bags for a long time that they can decorate and put gifts in or perhaps even make a mask with. I have also used them to just carry things from house to house with. They are great bags!

These are a nice size bag. Not huge but a good size for sack lunches. The paper seems a bit thin but seems to hold up well with a few snacks and drinks in them. Only complaint is they use plastic to reinforce the handles. If your looking for a 100% paper bag these aren’t it. Really would have been great if it was all paper but I understand, if they didn’t reinforce the handles then people would complain about weak handles, which these are really tough.

I was a bit concerned when I first opened these because the paper seemed a bit thin. I was expecting something more like a grocery store paper bag. The weight of these seems closer to a paper lunch sack. I decided to try putting an eight pound weight in there and carry it around the house for a while. It did cause the bag to droop at the bottom, but even after about five minutes there were no indications that it would ever break. If you look at the close up of the outside of the handle you can see that it caused minimal wear there. These will make wonderful gift bags. I would caution that you fill them in such a way that both handles are still accessible. Picking them up other than by the bottom of by both handles with any significant weight inside will cause tearing. I am more and more keen on the idea of gift bags and reusable wrappings, so I keep looking for this type of thing. My family is huge, so we exchange a lot of gifts. At less than forty cents each these Boxusa bags are a good buy.
