Charging battery
This works as expected, USB cable charger rather than using ac power, using solar power to charge my mutable type that I have, a good value and choice. Jeff

Very basic
The primary positive of this product is that it is inexpensive. It says it's a smart charger but I doubt the level of smartness. Other smart chargers have multiple functions besides just charging. When the battery is just done charging it is warm. If it sits overnight it is still the same amount of warm in the morning. That doesn't seem like a trickle charge to me. The operation of the status lights is dumb. Green light means either no battery, battery not seated correctly, or battery fully charged. This is a bare bones charger but it is very cost effective
