This bento box is pretty deep and easy for my 5 year old to open. I like that the dip section has a separate lid to use.I like the separate utensils that are integrated into the lid.My only concern is that the lid has to be lined up correctly in order for the lid to snap shut. My 5 year old struggled with that our first few tries but he will get used to that I am sure.I gave it 4/5 because I haven’t been able to test it’s leak proof claims.

I got this product for work. It’s a nice size, not too big and not too small. I love the compartments it also helps me with portion control. I would recommend this to any adult who wants it for themself as much as they want it for their kids

Very strong and protects food very well

This is simply perfect for my picky son. My 9 year old is super picky when it comes to food, so sending him to school with a lunch is the only way he will eat lunch. It was hard before being able to send him with all the things he liked because I always ran into the problem with not having enough compartments to put the food into without everything touching. Well this bento box solved that problem for this mom and then some. Not only did it solve the compartment problem it gave my son little tools to be able to use without having to use his hands or the same utensil for everything and looking cool doing it.I also love the fact that I don’t have to worry about my son throwing away or losing the silverware because all he has to do is lock it in its place on top and forget about it when he is done with it. This box also comes with the silicone cupcake tin things for whatever you need them for (my son uses them for his sweets that he doesn’t want touching anything else) which is pretty neat to have included in this kit.This bento box is an all in one box and then some. I don’t think you could possibly ask for anything else to add to this box to make it any more perfect. I will definitely be adding more colors to my collection for back up because these bento boxes are SIMPLY AMAZING!!!! First, I want to point out that nothing in the listing claims the plastic used is good grade safe even though it is. I took a picture of the backing which has the food grade safe stamp and is formed with 5pp plastic called Polypropylene. It is FDA-approved food safe plastic with a high heat tolerance. It is safe for the dishwasher, freezer, and microwave - also recyclable.I really like how easy this is to clean with a bottle brush. It gets into all the crevices and was extremely easy to clean.The cap on the circular pocket is very secure, perfect for sauces and dips. The clips are great, it can take a good jostling and nothing leaks into the other pockets or outside of the container. The silverware holder on top keeps silverware sterile, ready to use. I do worry the included fork is a bit flimsy…the top piece is hinged on but does not click closed. Seems like it could wear eventually but it’s good for now.The silicon cake cups are very thin and flimsy, but this makes it easy to squeeze 2 to 1 snack pocket. It’s convenient to separate things sometimes. The picks make it easy to pick up sliced fruit or cheese - and they’re so cute and colorful! They make the food look a little extra special and more appetizing. The large compartment is the perfect size for a sandwich with a little extra room.This is a great lunchbox that fits into a standard sized insulated lunch bag. It’s so stylish and holds food in place, it really is a great product that’s easy to clean and store. The depth is perfect to add lots of goodies and I just love that it includes the cups and picks. We really enjoy this for our kid’s lunches!

This Bento box is well made and it is exactly as described in the product listing, and it's the perfect size for my 1st grader to take his lunch in to school. It's made of sturdy plastic, and it fits perfectly inside my son's lunch box. Included with the box are two plastic utensils, four silicone cupcake wrappers (to use for small snacks, ie: goldfish, grapes, etc inside of the box compartments or to keep food items separated). One word of caution: this box also comes with a pack of super tiny forks/picks to use for eating or picking up food out of the box compartments - if you're using this box (or gifting it) to a toddler, I would recommend removing these as they're small enough to be swallowed. The Bento box is very easy to clean and the edges seal very well when they are fully closed and they do not leak, and my son is able to open and close it himself without any assistance.This is a great back-to-school item for elementary school aged kids!

My daughter isn't old enough yet for me to pack her a lunch so I use this lovely bento box when she has "quiet time" on her tablet for about an hour in her room. I fill the compartments with her favorite snacks. I use the small middle compartment for raisins and the big compartment for chips. All compartment sizes are a great size in my opinion. Not too small and not too incredibly big. The little animal plastic forks are cute and it's great it comes with a fork and a spoon for when I do use it for her lunches one day. This was just the kind of item i was looking for, for her "quiet time" snacks.

I purchased this bento box for my daughter to take to school. She’s already given it a trial run during a picnic we had at the park. I like the fact that the utensils are included in a closed, see through compartment on top of the box. I also like the individual compartments for food on the inside. There’s also an area, with a lid, for salad dressing, or condiments. The box also seems tobe spill proof when closing. All four side snap into place when attaching the lid to the box. My daughter is looking forward to using this bento box, this coming school year when she begins preschool.
