I bought 2 of these for 2 of my grandsons. They were Xmas gifts. The boys seemed to really like them a lot.They played with them inside the house and also played with them outside and had a great time. They are 6 and 9 years old. I would recommend the gliders for a gift. They are light, easy to use and a lot of fun.

What I like about this is that you get 3 planes! Enough for everyone to play at the park. While this can be flown indoors, it's recommended to play with it outside considering the heft of the plane but also because the launcher is pretty powerful. When flying indoors, my cat freaked out for the first couple of launches but she did manage to grab one out of the air. Was there damage? Not to the plane but there was obvious damage to my cat's ego. It just bounced off the ground and rolled to a stop like nothing happened. With that said, the plane is quite durable and easily withstands direct shots into a garage door (yes, i did it as a test). If it should break, just glue it back together with a little hot glue and you're good to go!Flight:The planes are quite heavy. They aren't the cheap foam you get from the planes you use to buy from the grocery store when you were a kid. One tip for flying this thing: aim slightly up as it will need some speed to keep up in the air. As an RC modeler, I can see these as a great park flyer with a little modification!Lights:It's got a LED strip going down the center of the plane. It's powered by 3 non-replaceable batteries. I assume you can replace them if you pull the cockpit apart but then you'll probalby have to glue it back with hot glue. I couldn't find a way to open it without breaking it so don't forget to turn it off when you're done to save your batteries!This is definately a good buy considering the price. It's load of fun, and definately rugged enough for the younger kids to play with.

The media could not be loaded.  We got these for my son’s 8th birthday, and as much as he loved them, I think the adults loved them even more!! They’ve already provided hours and hours of endless entertainment for our family!I wish the photos could actually show the true vibrancy of the lights and plane colors. My son has used with the airplane with the lights on for many hours but they’re still just as bright and vibrant now as they were the 1st time he turned them on.However, what I’m most impressed with is the quality! Usually, kids toys don’t last long, especially with kids my son’s age but all 3 planes and the gun still look good as new, even after running them into walls, trees, and the ground over and over— just like you see in the video I included. 😬😅As you can see in the pictures, you can’t even tell they’ve been shot off probably 100 times each. They’re made out of what I think is a heavy-duty foam, which makes them very durable, while still being able to effortlessly fly.Needless to say, if you’re looking for a fun toy for your child or the entire family, this is a great choice!

It is a cool toy to play with. Lights are very easy to remove.

Material rather flimsy. Difficult to cock don’t think my 6 year old grandson can make it work… sorry.

I honestly expected these Styrofoam airplanes to disintegrate with a hour of use by my grandkids. To my pleasant surprise, we played hard with these for about two hours on our back cement patio with palm trees and rock garden. The planes held up and did not break at all! They even nosedived into rocks/cement and flew into trees/poles/landscaping and did not break. The 3-year old even threw her airplane all over the yard and it held up. You can use the catapult or throw by hand. The grandkids (3 & 8 years old) love this toy set. As of now, I highly recommend this toy set for outdoor fun!!!

My grandsons, 2, 4 & 7 love these planes. They like being able to shoot them to make them fly. The only issue, which isn’t a game changer, are the lights. The switch for the lights is very shallow and disappear easily into the “gun” and can’t be retrieved to turn on or off.
