Good as other products

A lot of my friends praise CoQ10 as a supplement, so I thought I would give them a try. I have been taking these as directed for about a month now. I think it is too early to tell if they have helped as of yet. I can say that they are easy to swallow and have practically zero taste. This brand offers a higher dose than some other brands I looked at.

I've been using CoQ10, specifically the Kirkland 300 mg., for years. Most brands offer a 100 mg. dose which isn't high enough for my purposes, especially since most are in the form of Ubiquinone (as is this Nutriissa - CoQ10 1000 mg.) that must be converted by the body into Ubiquinol, which is immediately bio-available, BUT much more expensive.Because I've been using it for so long for heart health and other benefits, I feel like it's time to up the dosage. I'm thankful for that reason that I found this product that's also in my price range but also because I've been taking the Kirkland brand without lately reviewing the label. I've trusted that it's fine because it's USP verified BUT it didn't used to contain Bio-engineered ingredients, which I'm not so sure is ok, even though it may not be non-GMO (from what I understood from reading some info).While this Nutrissa product and the Kirkland product both contain Soy, about which I'm not really happy the latter contains more additives. I will stick with this formula for now.

I like that this CoQ10 is not combined with any other supplements. It is made with ubiquinone which is a really good source of CoQ10. I already take a lot of supplements and am adding this to my daily supplements.I started taking this supplement and feel like it gave me more energy. Do a quick search on the internet to learn how many different things CoQ10 helps with, especially heart health.The capsules are large, see my photo with capsule in the lid next to the quarter. Even though it is large, it is easy to swallow and did not cause stomach upset.

At 1000 mg per softgel this is a pretty high dosage for a CoQ10 supplement. Some quick research shows that it is not in an untested range, however.CoQ10 is a powerful antioxidant that occurs naturally in the body and is also critical to ATP production hence the link to "cellular energy" support. Having a little more CoQ10 floating around probably can't hurt!The pills are big but easy to swallow. Best to consume them with a meal that has some fat content for maximum absorption.The bottle has an American flag on it implying it is made in the USA but I can't find an explicit statement to that effect, so who knows...
