Awesome flattening bit!
Ive only been woodworking for about a year now. I made my first epoxy table and made my own router sled to flatten. The biggest bit I had at the time was 3/4". It worked well but knew if I was going to do it again I needed to upgrade my bit. I have a Bosch 1617 router so I didn't want to go too big. I've used this bit to flatten epoxy tables, walnut and cherry slabs, end grain cutting boards and more. It cuts smooth, leaves a great finish with no tear out or anything and stays sharp. I havn't needed to rotate or replace the blades yet. It works so well I've been considering trying the 2" version. Worth every penny!

Works well on wood. Not so well on rocks.
Works fine. Leaves a reasonably smooth milled finish, easy to sand to finished smoothness. Cutters last well and new faces align perfectly, leaving the same reasonably smooth milled finish.Don't run into that rock that the tree incorporated into its trunk. Wish Amazon sold a rock detector. But the replacement bit worked just as well as the first one. This was a good purchase.

Clean end grain cut
I bought it to trim end grain using a trim router. Left a nice surface. Only used once thus far, so I cannot comment on durability. Thus far, I’m happy with the cut and the price, with the former being more important than the latter.

Awesome product
I was hesitating to purchase this bit. I'm glad I did. So easy to smooth a surface, I needed to cut only a 1/4 inch out of the top of a circle, did a great job.

Great bit for plank flattening
I am new to a router sled and didn't know what type of bit to purchase. I purchased two. The first one went dull almost immediately. This bit is wonderful. It is smaller than the first bit I tried but it cut through my walnut plank very well. I like that the individual cutting heads can be turned when they dull to keep your bit sharp. I have not had to turn them yet but feel I will need to when I finish my 8 foot plank.

Does it’s job
I can’t speak for longevity but Here is a before and after of my spoil boardIt ran smoothly and chewed through the 23g pin nails that I use to hold down some of my projects without any noticeable damage to the cutters ! At this point i would recommend it ..if anything changes I will update my review

Great Finish
At least for the woodworking that I do, I could not ask for better. The blades are super sharp and durable, they can be rotated, which provides for longevity, this thing hogs off material and most importantly it leaves a great finish.Depending on what Im making, I have even skipped sanding afterwards.
