Reebok was founded for one of the best reasons possible: athletes wanted to run faster. So in the 1890s, Joseph William Foster made some of the first known running shoes with spikes in them. By 1895, he was in business making shoes by hand for top runners; and before long his fledgling company, J.W. Foster and Sons, developed an international clientele of distinguished athletes.

The Best Walking Shoes Ever!
I have difficulty finding tennis shoes that are comfortable. Did I ever luck out when I found the Reebok Skyscape Chase! I put them on when I get up in the morning and wear them all day long. I find myself getting into bed only to find I still have my tennis shoes on. This is the second pair I have bought for me, as I'm afraid they may be discontinued before my current ones show wear. The shoes are very flexible, have a nice insole, and don't show dirt, because of the Scotchgard. If you are looking for some good, comfortable walking shoes, these are the ones. I would say that they tend to run on the narrow side, which is great for me because my foot is narrow. I wear a 7 1/2....that's what I ordered; the fit is perfect. If your foot tends to run wider, I would go 1/2 size up. My granddaughter tried mine on, she wears the same size and works part time in a restaurant. I ordered her a pair. She got hers today and is wearing them tonight at work!

if you blister easily, buy these
the material of these shoes is more like neoprene or foam, so they feel practically like slippers. if you have bony feet that blister easily, like mine, they're instant comfort — no rubbing up against the ankle bones or anywhere else; they're simply too soft. they're also extremely thin and lightweight, great for warmer weather or a more minimalist look. the satin quality of the black shoes adds a little uniqueness and the streamlined design makes me comfortable wearing them at work, but the toe box is still wide enough that the sides of my pinky toes have room to breathe. gonna buy another color because it's so rare for me to find comfortable shoes that also have a slim, sleek, minimalist style. and true to size - I'm a 7 in sandals but a 7.5 in running shoes, got the 7.5, and they fit perfectly.

I prefer the Runarounds but these are good too. Better for wide feet.
I have several pairs of Reebok Women's Skyscape Runaround Walking Shoes and I adore them. Squishy and sleek. I wanted a pair of black ones and, at time, there were none in stock in my size. I saw these Skyscape Chase walking Shoes and they looked identical to the Runarounds and they were available in my size for a decent price. When I received the shoes, they looked very similar to my Runarounds. They have a rubbery, different sort of fabric and the insides are squishy and soft. They don't have much arch support and I wasn't expecting much. The black with pink detailing are very striking. However, these are wider in the toe box and feel a bit bigger in length. My Runarounds fit perfectly but these feels a bit big on me. More wide than long. I can still wear them but I have to tie them tightly to keep them from feeling annoying.I am considering returning them and waiting for the Runarounds. If you have wide feet, these are the shoes for you. If you have narrow or medium, I think the Runarounds are best. They are incredibly similar otherwise as far as style, material, and comfort. Very comfy. I have flat feet yet I can walk all day on my Runarounds without foot pain. I no doubt could too in these as they have the same insides. They're just wide. I am going to try them again and see if that is a problem for me. If it bugs me, I will return them and get the Runarounds. But I will not down rate them for being wider. That's just the style they are. These are great shoes - especially if you have wider feet or are in between sizes. I prefer the Runarounds because they are more form fitting to my feet.

quite possibly the most comfortable and light-weight shoes i have ever put on my ...
quite possibly the most comfortable and light-weight shoes i have ever put on my feet next to the Nike Free Run 5.0.i can really stand, walk, and dance in these shoes all day and go to sleep with them on if need be - they are just so comfortable.i ordered a half size up from the suggested size because i wanted room for my feet to swell and for when i wear thick socks when i'm cold or need extra cushion. i have another pair of Reebok Skyscape shoes which are the Fuse Walking Shoes http://www.amazon.com/Reebok-Womens-Skyscape-Walking-Violet/dp/B00LH7YCWW/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1447934850&sr=8-5&keywords=reebok+skyscape in a size 7.5.i have no complaints about this shoe, they're easy to clean as well. i have flat feet so the lack of arch support doesn't bother me.the softness of the sole more than makes up for it but should you need higher arches, it's no problem to replace the existing ones. the portrait purple/steel is a bit darker than shown. overall, very good shoes and well worth the money.

Wonderful walking / super casual sneaker!
Love these shoes! They are super lightweight and were comfortable for all day wear at an amusement park the first day I had them. It was a risky move, but it paid off big time! Feet felt great at the end of the day. Just the right support and flex for my feet. True to size 10 / medium width. No toe crowding, pinching or heel blisters at all. Easy to slip on and off without untying. Will likely order another pair in a different color. I am incredibly happy with these. So sorry, Reebok, for forgetting about you since the late 80's.

Does not compare to other Skyscape shoes
I have purchased several types of the "Skyscape" shoes by Reebok. I love them because they are light, cushiony, and breathable. This style of the Skyscape line I do not like. The fit is narrower than the others'. The heel is raised higher. And the sole is denser, so it is less-cushiony and heavier. The sole in the earlier styles does have the problem of wearing somewhat quickly and becoming compressed. But the trade-off of this style becoming less comfortable is not worth it. I will not buy this style of Skyscape again.

Reebok Casual Shoe
Ordered 7 1/2 M - my regular shoe size. Fit is exact in as much as I can only wear thinner socks. To wear thicker golf or gym socks, would need an 8. Light, comfortable and good arch support. Ideal for PT rehab - I have smashed tibia and knee. Would not think they are robust enough for heavy duty gym work or running. I will not be wearing any pretty dress shoes or sandals for a long time and these look quite ok for everyday wear - not big and clumpy like real sneakers.
