Hi there, Thank you for your question. Our natural treats are processed as little as possible to preserve as much valuable nutrients as possible, such as protein, collagen and microelements. After cleaning they are slow air dried with clean air, and then pasteurized in the last stage. This allows to eliminate all pathogens while maintaining maximum nutritional values.

Q: Don't smell right are they safe

Current batch of Sardines arrived to us a month ago, so I'm pretty sure the product is fresh and safe for your dog. The fishy smell may be a little bit strong for some people, as every person is more or less sensitive to smell. If you have any doubts about the quality, please return the product for a full refund, as there is no need to risk the health of your dog, and stress yourself.Please feel free to contact us should you have any questions or concerns.

Hi, thank you for asking us. Yes, you can break these necks into 2-3 pieces, but despite the dog is small I believe they will last 5-10 min, as they are not that hard and long lasting as some other natural air dried treats. Hope my answer was helpful at least a little.
