Absolutely brilliant, loved it, the characters the plot the whole thing had me desperate to find out what was going to happen, it's a must read to you won't be disappointed.🎉💯🥳

This book is 10x better than the first book in the series! The author really pulled this book together nicely! Loved the twists and turns, plot was great.I was looking forward to Grayson and Maddie’s story and it didn’t disappoint.Luca’s character developed well in this book too, I am really looking forward to his book.

Just a quick reference about this book, if you've not read this series then you're missing out. Loved all the books and Maddie and Graysons book was just as good as the first. Wish there was more to read and now I've read them I wish I could read them all again for the first time. ❤️

Get the audio!! Oh lord let me tell you, the narration on this is phenomenal, it takes the whole book up a level, the way Greyson becomes so much hotter to me when I can hear him talk. How he speaks to Maddie, and the London eye scene is insane. His growly “sunshine” is HOT!! If you can get this in audio definitely do the audio version.Oh my lord if you like your men, bad, filthy, protective and all about pleasing you then this is your book!! I didn’t think anyone could take the crown from Keller (Distance by Luna Mason) but Greyson for me was oh so much hotter! His love for Maddie as much as he fights it, is obvious.I read this in one sitting, could not put it down! I cannot wait for book 3, roll on September. I wonder if we can make Luna write faster.Luna Mason is now my favourite author, her first book in this series Distance with Keller I didn’t think you could top. Boy was I wrong.Grayson has the dirtiest mouth 👄 but is also very romantic. His relationship with Maddie is so sweet, he pushes her away to begin with but gets jealous when he sees her with someone else and also hates seeing her upset.I cannot wait to read the third book in this series and I have a feeling Luca may steal Grayson crown as Luna’s books just keep getting better and better.Read it, you won’t be disappointed.

When I read Distance, and after I stopped crying, I picked detonate right up. Overall this was a good read, I liked both characters and they worked well together.Maddie is a bold sassy woman with a VERY opinionated mum who wants her to find "the perfect man" for her. If I was to give a message to mummy dearest, Grayson is not the night in shining armour and more the morally grey villain that catches Maddie off guard and swoops her up off her feet.The plot was flowing and had good tension however I feel like it could have been developed a little more. How do I word this, there was a plot that ran throughout, but no real main plot. I mean I read this a little while ago and I can remember the key elements and they do make sense but I couldn't tell you what the point of it was in a way. Don't get me wrong it was brilliant all the way through but it was lacking the crack that was injected into the first one.Overall would recommend.

After falling in love with the first book in this series I couldn’t wait to read Grayson and Maddies story, there was so much drama and tension there you knew it would be explosive when we got to their story. It did not disappoint. Throughout the book it’s a battle of wills, emotions, and desires and it doesn’t fully culminate until right until the end of the book.Luna Mason has managed to create a world of morally grey villains who you can’t help but rooting for; they punish hard but love harder and who wouldn’t want the villain to burn the world down for them.

This book is amazing and top quality I love how discriptive it is and how as you read you can imagine the scenes if the book play out in your mind. I love how it changes point of veiws as well u truley recomed the author and this book.

Another stellar hit! The storyline was just so good and even though I had feelings of what was to happen the twist and turns still had me held captive to their whims. It was a great read and I can’t wait to read the next! Definitely recommend reading!

PLEASE READ TRIGGER WARNINGS BEFORE READING THIS BOOK.One of my favorites types of book are stand alonenish were you get the other couple and keep reading bits and pieces of the first/second/ third couples you’ve read about. This is one the this books. I love the first book and this one doesn’t stay behind. The FMC and her confidence even though everything she has with her mother is so inspiring. The banter the two MC have it’s great and funny and sometimes I just wanted for them to do it, it was a great timeline. The MMCs and his background and the reason he is the way he is it actually accurate and I did enjoyed it. The spicy scenes this book has are great and I truly enjoyed reading this book overall.

Detonate is book 2 of the Beneath the Mask series. It’s a dark mafia romance, with a boxing theme.Grayson is Keller’s trainer and enforcer for the mafia. He’s a player, never wanting to settle down. He’s strong, powerful and lethal. But his hurt and betrayal from his previous relationship has left him unable to let his walks down and let someone in.Maddie is feisty and independent, but insecure from years of being berated by her mother. She’s searching for Mr, Right, trying to make her mother happy. But really just wants someone who lights up her life.Maddie and Grayson are snarky and sarcastic to one another, pushing each other’s buttons and driving each other crazy. One kiss is all it takes for them to become obsessed with each other, even as they try to fight it.This story had me riveted. It was action packed, with plot twists and surprises. There were lies and betrayals and so many hints at what is to come. Of course, we also got some of Keller and Luca, which I am always up for!But ultimately, this is a story of love. Their relationship was surprising to both Grayson and Maddie and they fought it tooth and nail. But through their snarky, and often hilarious, encounters, you could feel their intense connection and emotions for each other. Their smutty times were so hot (London Eye) and Grayson’s romantic gestures were bold (again London Eye).Detonate is another fantastic read from Beneath the Mask series! It was funny, especially the encounter with Grayson’s ex. It was hot and it was emotional. There was action and excitement. And now, I can’t wait for Luca’s story!

I already knew from book one that I wanted to know more about Maddie and Grayson and I wasn’t disappointed
