Super Mario RPG on the Nintendo Switch is an absolute delight — a perfect balance of nostalgia and updated visuals. The soundtrack has been beautifully reorchestrated, yet it retains that classic charm longtime fans will remember. For newcomers, it’s a fantastic entry point into classic-style RPGs with accessible gameplay and plenty of humor. Overall, this remake captures the magic of the SNES original while making it feel fresh for today’s players. It’s warm, funny, and endlessly enjoyable — a must-play for both RPG fans and anyone who loves Mario’s adventurous side.

An absolute gem of a remaster with added features, mini games and the ability to switch between the new soundtrack or the retro soundtrack. There are also some very nice video sequences. The difficulty is just right and there may be the occasional times where you need to stock up on items, get better gear or level up.

I enjoy a good RPG, played many over the years. This is up there with the best of them. Great fun and playable the graphics are gorgeous too. I got it for £20 so an absolute steal.

I absolutely love that game, one of my favourite recent games in the switch. It’s brilliantly remake while keeping the 90’s charm of the original. The whole universe, characters and music are so charming, it has an amazing gameplay and the adventure and story are amazing to follow.

As far as remakes go, it's good. It's also easy to see why this game was received the way it was when originally released. But for me, the core gameplay doesn't really change so it feels a little repetitive. Using skills can deplete the "mana" quickly so they're used for bosses. I also had to give up on the Yoshi Race (if you know, you know). I had fun, but get it on sale and appreciate it for what it is - A good N64 game.

Fantastic game, great rpg, graphics are nice and the story & writing are hilarious, good roster of characters too.

Really fun and easy for first time rpg players or veteran players. Plenty. To do in the game and can be beaten in under 15-18 hours
