This is an exceptional product. I ordered it thinking it wouldn’t help and amazingly it’s spectacular. It makes that zipper glide like nothing else. No more problems.

I used this on the metal zipper of my purse, and I regret it. It barely helped with the zipper sticking. It left a sticky, waxy residue on the zipper and on the leather around it. Worst of all it has a strong chemical smell that hasn't gone away after 2 weeks. Every time I grab my purse I regret using this.

Did not work for the zippers on my boots. Wouldn't budge. Boo!

Stuff works like a champ !!

This is helpful for lubricating and protecting cheap made zippers to get some extra life out of them. It's convenient to have it in a lip balm size, no mess dispenser. I also found that it works good on guitar strings for easier playing and to protect from rusting when put up for long periods. Not a must have product for me but nice to have.

The lubricant is easy to carry which makes its ideal for travelling. There isn't an obvious smell to it, although if your nose is sensitive, you could pick up an oily scent when its applied to a zipper.Testing: "I used this lube tube on a few items around the house: my wife's backpack, my fanny pack, a large suit case and some jeans. The lube is applied easily, much like chapstick, and I couldn't smell anything from it unless my nose was right next to the zipper. There were no oily residues on the zipper once applied.Did this thing help my zipping? Definitely. After applied, the zipper glides a bit easier. I can reserve my enormous strength for other matters. But that all really depends on the quality of the zipper; This lube will not make a cheap, crappy zipper less crappy. The zipper on my Samsonite luggage went across much easier with the lube but the zipper on my bootleg fanny pack I bought in Korea is less noticeable.Final Thoughts: This could be considered a solution to a problem you never realised you had. I imagine very few people think about zipper maintenance for their backpack or purse, but why not extend the life of those zipper while reducing zipper-related stress for $7?
