Premier Housewares Granite Worktop Saver - 40 x 30 cm, Natural Stone, Black

I'm sure that these granite chopping blocks are great for chopping up veg and stuff, and that they are easy to clean and so on, but I bought two and have used them to provide a solid base on which to site my loudspeakers. They protect the wooden floor from spike damage and have the added advantage of helping to tighten up the bass response. Great value for money. Only minor criticism is that I could do with them being slightly thicker. The spec sheet said 2 cm, but these look more like 1.5 cm thick. I have yet to check with a tape measure. All in all though, I'm very happy with the purchase. So much so I bought 2. One for each speaker.....

Only thing …. Said scratch resistant but on receiving it , had two on it that were obvious to see . Didn’t bother sending it back though

Great to extend my kitchen worktop and my sourdough bread as my kitchen is tiny.

I honestly can't see what real use this granite block has.It's not really any good as a worktop chopping board, because it stains so easily, and as it turns out, is not recommended as a chopping board. It can ruin knives. It's porous, so once something gets in to it, it's there forever. The first day I got it, I was cutting tomatoes, it stained the surface and is still there to this day. If all granite worktops are like this, I'm glad I have a standard wooden/laminated worktop.It's so heavy it's hard to take about with you, and clean in the sink. There are no feet, so the bottom surface can cling to your worktop too, making moving it tough without getting a knife between it to break the suction (what is it called? ... surface tension?)The edges are roughly cut too. It's not that fancy. If you're looking for a chopping board, I'd advise you to look elsewhere, like wood. As a standard basic piece of granite, it does it's job I suppose. But it's not great. It does me for meat or general use. But I have a wooden chopping block for my main food preparation now.

This chopping board made from granite is great, it is very heavy and doesn't move when chopping on it. So easy to wipe clean as it has a smooth shiny surface which doesn't scratch or mark when cutting on it.It is a good thickness which gives it the resulting weight.I would recommend this and would buy again.

A liitle on the grey side. Wanted a black one so that was a little disappointing. Very good quality though.

Excellent product

I'm really up with the granite cutting board. A lot heavier than I expected, my sympathies for the Amazon delivery guy. It stays where you put it and doesn't move about while cutting. It does mark easily which very difficult to shift. But it looks great in my kitchen. I'd recommend it to anyone.
