Good tripod, lightweight and easy to center.
The tripod works well but needs to be broken in to get the most movement out of it as there were burrs on the plastic making the movement feel forced. The tripod is sturdy and light, the only concern i had was the amount of force needed to move it in all directions. After closer inspection i found some plastic burrs in the plastic that i was able to work out, after that the tripod has been great.

Beautiful, sturdy and functional
Oh my, where do I start to express my love for this tripod!! It does what is says and is pretty darned sturdy! It extends to all the perfect heights I could ever want but folds down to a nice portable size that I can carry around easily. I had bought a slightly more expesive one from a B&M store that was pure crap and I returned that as soon as I got my hands on this one.I opened the box, extended the legs, connected my camera and went to work. I might have cried a little at how sturdy it was especially coming from my previous experience. Simply put, I love it! I don't do anything complicated with it so I can't comment on any bells and whistles.

Doesn't live up to the hype
I was excited - reviews seemed good, I picked out a cool looking color (Orange, even paid a few extra bucks for it), but what a disappointment. The pinion mechanism for raising and lowering the head was extremely tight - even with the locking collar loosened. The entire thing just feels cheap. My biggest concern was that I was going to break the height handle right off: it was flexing in my hand, and you can't get a full 360° without hitting the base. I'm not in the photography trade, so maybe this is what you can expect for a portable (and so necessarily lightweight) tripod.I had an older Sunpak (SU8001UT) that I paid $25 for 5 years ago and it was much better build quality - sadly I read that quality isn't the same as it used to be.Anyway, the search continues...

Good Tripod. I had a more expensive one and switched.
The more expensive one was flimsier. It had better articulation, with a handle and trigger. But this one is the tried and true style that I’m glad I’m going back to. Always get one that locks the legs in place. Very sturdy.

Very light and easy to use.
I needed a light tripod for nature photography. The one I've had for years is just too heavy to lug around. This tripod is great. It's light and easy and sets up quickly. Glad I purchased this.

Great all around but...
Nice and lightweight, works great for travel. I wish the mounting plate screw would stay tighter. The screw to adjust panning came off and is lost. If you have a heavy lens on this tripod, it will fall out of the mount if you tip it forward. I've had it happen multiple times. I can't use it in portrait either because of a heavy lens. The first few months I had it I loved it but these design flaws caused me to purchase a much better tripod. I am lucky in that none of my equipment has been damaged. Put the money towards a better product.

Get what you pay for
For $25 I guess it’s not too bad, but it’s another lesson in getting what you pay for
