Very nice material and easy to work with
I installed this on a road course race car to protect a new oil cooler. It was easier to work with than I anticipated. It comes rolled up in a box and can be easily bent back flat with minimal effort. I used a straight edge and a utility blade to "score" where I wanted to cut it. Bending the material back and forth at the score mark and it broke off cleanly and easily. Looks good installed and it seems sturdy enough to protect the oil cooler from rocks and debris that my get kicked up on track.

Stiff, but easy to cut and looks factory if done right!
Very nice, stiff protective screening for my radiator, oil cooler and air conditioning cooler. People on the Santa Cruz forum were complaining that when a rock hit any of the above it was a $1,800 replacement cost that was not covered under warranty. So at the recommendation of others I got 2 sheets of this in the 4x8 rhombic size. I didn't install it like others, zip tying it either on the outside or the inside of the grill like so many others. I'm not doing that to $40,000 new car! I watched a YouTube video on how to take the front end with installed grills off my car. being very careful it took me 45 minutes and the whole front end was laying on the grass in front of the car. It was then very easy, with regular scissors, to cut the screening to fit the back side of the grill. I left tabs on the screen where I saw screws on the back side that held grill in place. I then back the screws out one by one and screed them back in first through the screen tab then back in the hole holding the grill in place. That held the screening in place against the back of the grill. Start to finish, in my driveway, It took me 4 hours, which was well worth it, to get a factory looking job. The tools I used to do this were a small flathead screwdriver for the plastic pop fasteners, a 10 mm socket for the eight bolts, a pair of scissors for cutting the screen and a Phillips head screwdriver for attaching it to the existing screws holding the grill in place.I did have some concern when I finished because it looked so beautifully black with very little silver aluminum radiator showing, that maybe too much of the airflow would be blocked by the screening... I can tell you that this is absolutely NOT the case! We've had heat indexes over 105 degrees the last few days and I've driven the car around town, on the highway and sat in it parked on a blacktop parking lot with the air conditioning running for over an hour and the engine temperature gauge is exactly where it has always been, just a hair under mid-range. I have not seen the slightest change!

Not fully as advertised. Shorter than 40" long.
The mesh was strong. There is some linear waviness caused by being rolled up. The mesh was a little less that 39.5". Fortunately, that is not an issue for my use. Except for a number of places, the finish was even. Places where the finish was uneven. looks similar to someone layered the finish too thickly or there were some clumps either caused by debris on the mesh prior to coating or defects in the coating.

As expected
Fragile and hard to shape. But it works if you are looking for a cheap mesh

Good quality
Good quality. Don’t know how it functions as a grill screen guard. I bought it to build a fly trap

Make yourself a grille
Product comes well packaged and true to description. Needs to be unrolled and flattened. Can be cut with metal shears but I found that using a Dremel tool with a cutting disk worked better. I made two grills for my CamAm Rykers and they look great with the black mesh in front of the rad.

Muy práctico
Lo utilicé para cubrir una ventana de un sótano que apenas tenía ventilación. La combinación tamaño de agujero y rigidez la hacen ideal para estar así todo el año y tener el sótano permanentemente ventilado.
