Admittedly using wax seals on paper documents, letters, or invitations is anachronistic. However, if you're considering buying this, you probably have a bit of an anti-tech streak that makes you stand out from all those who wouldn't dream of sending a letter when an email or text will do.I bought this to add some flair to letters I write to my family, especially my mother who suffers some loss of short-term memory.I love the quality of the personalized seal. It is well done and stamps very clearly. It is all I could hope it would be. The only thing to make this better would be a rubber stamp accessory which would allow me to use the same seal with ink.

I’ve used sealing wax for many years and have a collection of stamps collected over time, but have never seen a custom stamp like this before, and must say that I’m most impressed! It comes beautifully packaged with an example of the custom wax seal on the outside, so you know how it will look before you ever use it. I purchased the stamp for myself, but for someone giving this as a gift, it is a beautiful presentation with full instructions. Tip: I put a tiny dot of red nail polish at the top of the metal, center of stamp, so that I can align the top center of the stamp with the envelope. Also, if you have a stamp pad of gold or silver ink, it’s nice to ink the stamp, then stamp into a contrasting color of sealing wax for a 2-color effect.

I ordered this to put on handwritten letters, and also to mark books. It was crafted quickly and showed up after only ten or so days. It came with two wax sticks, a sample of the seal, and a small booklet showing the history of sealing wax, and simple instructions. I think it came out perfectly. I see no flaws, the text is very legible, and it works very well. I have not tried out the wax, but it looks higher quality than the wax that came with some other seals I have ordered.

Bought as a gift for a friend, she adores it. I specifically chose this one because my friend has a long surname, and this was one of few options that allowed that many characters. I was worried that meant it would look rushed or disproportionate, but it doesn’t at all. It’s beautifully made and has a good weight in your hand. Running your finger along the actual metal stamp, you can feel the quality in the precision and sharpness of the letter edges.My friend is now obsessed and seals every envelope that leaves the house. Good gift!

I love sealing my mail with a wax stamp, so when I saw this, I thought that there was no way that it would be good for such a low price. But I tried it anyway and I am so glad that I did. It is absolutely beautiful. They did such and amazing job on the stamp, and I received it very quickly! If you're into doing letters a little old fashioned (or with extra style I say) then buy this!
