This is a light and extremely handy measuring jug with accurate, easy-to-read markings much better than typical US consumer measures. The handle is sturdier than it looks. The spouts on all sizes of this jug pour cleanly and well. Fundamentally, this is laboratory glassware adapted for your kitchen. It's far better than Pyrex which IS NOT borosilicate glass any more.The measure markings cover most things you're likely to need, except for one odd quirk. The cups scale has full and half cups up to 4 cups, and there are ⅓ cup, 1⅓ cup, 2⅓ cup, and 3⅓ cup markings ... but oddly, there are no ⅔ cup, 1⅔ cup etc markings. This seems a strange omission. However, this is the only negative comment I can make about it.

These have very clear markings. Perfect for measuring small quantities, especially of liquid ingredients. I do a lot of experimenting baking, and frequently need to measure extracts and other ingredients in small increments. These are perfect.

I've bought two of these as it is great on the counter when adding hot water to hot chocolate and you really only want to add 6 oz/ 178ml of piping hot water, etc. The handle comes in VERY handy in this case. The only item I want to point out is that the second one I received roughly a eight months after the first one, the numbers are bigger and the scaling is ever so slightly off from the first. Which leads me to guess they are added by hand. The glass does "feel" a bit thin, but for my use it works and I'm happy with it. So why did I buy two, because the first was used by the kids with a science project and the glass held up well with a direct fire (candle) under the measure glass (again, a nice reason to have that handle). I say, it seems like a good product.

The set is good but very fragile. Be careful, it breaks quite easily!

Who wouldn’t enjoy a 5 ounce “shot glass!”Actually I bought this to be able to make mixed drinks in double portions to share especially when using mixers like Bittermilk or El Guapo. So the glass is plenty heavy duty. Markings are good. I lowered one star because there are so many scales on the glass that it gets a little difficult to read the right one. I will not put in dishwasher because I don’t know how durable the markings are. No issue. Mostly measuring alcohol and flavorings. Easy enough to rinse in hot water and drain dry. It’s wide enough to put soapy wash cloth in it for more thorough cleaning. Despite the surplus of measuring scales, I’d purchase again. I am happy with the size

What more could you want? I use it with my expresso machine. It does the job and looks nice sitting on the machine when not in use. Would recommend for those who need to measure liquids.

These work wonderful works well for meting coconut oil and butter doesn’t even get hot to touch washes nicely in the dishwasher too!!

I didn't notice the warning buried in the fine print of the Product Information:"the dishwasher will affect the measurement marks and cause the measurement marks to fade."Lines are unreadable after putting in dishwasher five times, before we realized our mistake.I broke our first one, but I take the blame as there is no way that this cup could be as strong as a three-times-thicker typical Pyrex cup.Otherwise, a very usable, very precise measuring cup.
