Comes together easily. The poles are thin, hollow, poly covered metal, like garden stakes. The connection bottoms are more substantial metal. The hoops and finials are plastic. I decided to put zip ties on the connections for the hoop sections, in case they come loose when a plant is growing on the trellis and I can’t easily get in there to fix it. Included was a pack of trellis clips, green plant wire and ties.It fits well into a big 14” flower pot. Can’t comment on durability yet.

I just have to say this, I don’t like this, I LOVE it! It’s not only beautiful but it’s sturdy and definitely quality for the price that you pay. I have no idea what the complaining reviews are for, did they think they were going to get iron for $16.00?? The description says it’s plastic and thats what you get and when it is put together correctly it is extremely sturdy and doesn’t wiggle at all! For me (a woman) it was easy to put together, the directions that it came with were clear and easy to follow. I wasn’t missing any pieces and I love that it comes with 3 different toppers and the ability to make it at whatever height I want it to be at. I set this up last night and my small vine plant has already attached to it! Super happy with this purchase! I would definitely recommend this and buy another one if I need more!

The size is good. I can adjust as my plant grows. I was expecting it to be all metal but the circles around and top piece is plastic so I’ll have to see if that will be durable over time but that can be a benefit to being rust resistant. The circle pieces don’t stay fastened all the time but I plant on adding wire to help train my clematis so that should be an easy fix. It is stable. I pushed it in the ground several inches and the strong winds have not knocked it over. For a quick fix for my new clematis I think it will serve its purpose

Extremely misleading description title of "rust-proof metal" and it is also misleading to imply this is made of metal which is encased in plastic. The entire thing is plastic except for some short metal rods, that are more like connectors that stick out of the very ends of the rods. The rest of the rod is hollow plastic, NOT metal. I know this becuase when taking it apart, the metal literally came out of the plastic. This was a cheap piece of garbage. I returned it immediately for a refund and then went to Lows and got an actual metal trellis.

Maybe I didn't read the description, but I was expecting it to be metal. It's plastic, so it won't rust. It snaps together. I've had it for a couple of months and sometimes the pieces come undone, but they're easy to put back. It looks good for the price!

Cages are great quality and price for the size. The plastic bird toppers were really cheesy. I was hoping to use the other ball topper but there was only 1 in the my package — so I’m using them with not topper and they just look OK.

These are great for jasmine that can get out of control very fast. Just tall enough to get full blooms yet manageable height to keep plants trimmed.These are sturdy, plastic/rubber coated aluminum and should last a while. We live in Fl and the salty air isnt always kind to plant structures (not to mention hurricanes). These are very easy to take apart in a hurry.

Wonderul... easy assembly, good fit and alignment , looks great in my garden with jasmine vine. ..very functional...purchased 2 more!
