I’m using these lights in my band’s lighting rig. I’ve upgraded to the MaestroDMX controller. Still trying to get a very active show from these lights using the 15-channel mode. When switched to sound mode, these lights are VERY active.

OK, my only complaint is that the housing for these are plastic. That leaves me wondering about the mechanism inside of it and how long it will last.Now for the good stuff...These look really cool. They're a great lighting effect that you can mount horizontally or vertically. The package comes with a bracket that can be used to attach the Spider Moving Head light to either a light truss a ceiling or wall. Once mounted you can set these to several automatic settings OR you can control them via DMX.I had no problems setting this up with DMX on my light board. Once set up I was amazed at how many options there were for different movement and lighting effects.The lights them selves are bright and throw out a nice beam. If you add a a little fog to the mix they look incredible. The lights aren't to noisy so they won't cause problems when using them on a stage.All in all I would say that these are a really cool lighting effect that really POP when you turn them on.

Priced right for mini spider light pair. Each unit has 2 bars with 4 lights, each bulb displays only a single color. When projecting a single color only one light will light up in each bar. They look best when running one of the 23 programs that alternates the lights automatically. I use these racked behind me 10 ft up and facing the dance floor. Unlike lasers, these will not damage someones eyesight. They are not super bright like larger spider units which makes them perfect for close proximity to the audience. The housing is high impact plastic which makes them lighter. There is no on/off switch or remote control so I find it best to use with dmx control.

This two pack is perfect for adding some moving lights to your dance parties or DJ setup. They're relatively inexpensive and they support DMX. There are some on-board controls but it looks like it'd be much easier to use a DMX controller if you can.They support master/slave, which I believe you can set to sound responsive and have them match. Or you can use DMX control. Or you can set them separately.Either way, great lights, highly recommended to add some motion to your dance floor.

These work very well when connected into a DMX system . The lights are narrow and bright enough to work as a stand in for lasers without the safety concerns. The are limited in the way each section has one of each color - so the ability for this to be your main stage accent is limited, but at this price point they are totally worth it
