Possibly the most effective mosquito repellent I've used...
Sadly, both myself and my daughter have terrible reactions to mosquito bites. We've had holidays in USA, Portugal, and camping in UK ruined by this. We've tried many creams, wipes, candles, oils, sprays in the past, and some are effective, some are not, and some just plainly stink! This Gya Labs product seems to work well. We used it daily on a recent two week trip to Portugal, and aside from a single bite during the night on my daughter's face, we remained unscathed... which is excellent as other folk in the same town were complaining about bites constantly. The spray comes in a generous size bottle and although it's costly, you cannot put a price on quality of life! The smell is actually quite pleasant - a kind of citrus/ mint blend, that lingers for many hours. ALso, there was no visible spray effect on clothes or skin, so that's a positive too.We were typically re-applying after swimming or for going out on the evenings, but I have to say based on experience, this stuff works really well.Thumbs up.

It Seems To Work!
I like the predominantly citrussy scent of this spray. No horrid chemically smell. It's really very pleasant. I usually get eaten alive when I pop into the garden to lock the tortoise in her box or pick some herbs and if I dare to do some gardening I'm covered in bites in no time. The first time I used this spray, I was pruning some unruly tree branches and was in the damp shady part of the garden normally infested with mossies for quite a while, sawing through branches. I ended up with one bite on my leg and nothing else. I was amazed. Needless to say, I spray it on all exposed parts whenever I pop into the garden and if I am going to be out there a while, I spray all over. It has really made such a difference. I had almost given up on the gardening as it simply wasn't worth the days of agony with itchy bites. I really react badly to bites and they swell up into huge lumps and itch for days and days. I've had no problem this year and thus can most heartily recommend this spray.

Quite effective over the summer
There's a strong citrus scent from this, so I'm thinking it's limonene in the citronella oil which is the primary insect repellent. The other oils provide some masking scent and make it easier to apply without being greasy.Priced at £7 for 10ml isn't best value, 100ml for £23 gives more for you money but would be more weight to carry hiking etc.I used when sitting on the patio of an evening and didn't get bitten so all good.

It worked in Scotland so assume it'll work anywhere!
Used this for our annual trip to the Highlands in Scotland and the millions of midges stayed away! No one, and I mean NO ONE of us, got one single bite. Love that it's natural and that it won't irritate.

Spray away...
I think the day after this Gya Labs Mozzie Guard Spray arrived the weather changed and the midges and mozzies all took a day off and it became less of a necessity, but a bit of rain and a warm day and they all came rushing back again. This is potent stuff when first applied and you get a big burst of Citronella which hangs around for a while but does fade and need reapplied. Thankfully you don't need a lot and two or three strategic sprays lasts for a couple of hours and does seem to keep the flying pests at bay.So far I've only used it for gardening and lawn-mowing but it seems to be quite effective, this is especially noticeable under trees where I would normally get bitten to death but I survived intact. Mostly I spray onto clothing but the few bits of skin I've treated have been fine too with no irritation. If I was headed to an area known to be a mozzie-trap I would definitely pack these in my case, they seem to be effective and are really easy to use.

Seems to do the job
We took these to Vietnam and Singapore in the Summer and seemed to offer a good alternative to deet based products. I don't think I'd trust it with the midges in the west of Scotland but to keep away the odd mozzy etc. it seemed to work well.

Nature's way.
The media could not be loaded. Looking for more natural protection from mosquitos this my tick that box. This is plant based and DEET free. The active ingredients being Citronella, Lemongrass, Eucalyptus, Peppermint, thyme, and Rose Geranium, all this means it smells quite nice.It comes in a push top defuser rather than aerosol, which is great. It also comes in a 100ml bottle which means you can travel with it.It is recommended to apply every couple of hours.
