Keeping as may use it in future.It seems well made, study, fits.BUT....There is no vent underneath and since with prolonged use this model MacBook Pro gets very hot, I’d worry about overheating. (Mine was close to - but not in the batch - of recent recalled ones that have had batteries replaced by Apple).ALSO...Whilst it fits well and securely. It does so by means of metal ‘clips’ built into the edge, taking it off hasn’t scratched my MacBook but I think it could do easily. Just as most of us will resell to upgrade, could hit the value as well at looking annoying.AND....It’s pretty bulky when it’s on and makes MacBook feel pretty heavy.Overall keeping in a sleeve type carry case is probably a better option - and what I’m going to do for now.BUT....My 12” MacBook was saved a while back by a similar case when a large glass of water was knocked on it. (Oddly that case does have vents in the bottom but that Model MacBook doesn’t get hot at all ??!!!).So guess ultimately guess how ‘risk adverse’: on the one hand really good protection Vs potential of overheat/metal scratch on the other????If it saves your MacBook from serious injury then fair play a 5*

I am revising my review as the first product which i received seems to be damaged.1. Case packaging was very poor. (both times) This doesn't seem to be like a £30 product. as per seller, it get damaged during transit but I am not sure how it gets damaged, definitely need to check with Amazon warehouse as this is how customers see it.2. Bottom cover vents are not the same as Macbook Pro vents. (see below). I have observed that my MacBook has less air flow which probably make it hotter. I have also compared it with another Case and you can see the base is has more vents.3. I have observed there was a little gap between the case and Macbook Corners. This isn't a big issue but it explains how accurate fitting it is.I don't think it is 5 star product but i will give it 3 stars. Leather is soft (maybe not original), I don't think it will put scratches on the macbook so kinda protection but I expect design & packaging to be better.

The case is a nice fit and as it says it is slim and very easy to fit onto my 2018 15 inch MacBook Pro, I chose the black one so it blended in with the space gray laptop, this is the second iCarer case I have bought this week the other for my surface book and both are good value and both fit well so I can recommend them after having around a dozen or more cases from other makers on various MacBook Pro's this case gives the best initial impression time will tell how well it lasts.

Quality: It is great. The case feels expensive and the leather does not look like cheap/fake leatherDesign: As someone who has been trying to find a good case for mac (for a while now), I think the design of the product is good but could have been much better. For example, it is very hard to put the case on the mac, and if not careful you might damage your expensive mac.Use: It looks good, feels good and work as a case should

When I first got my latest A1707 Macbook ther seemed to be a dearth of suitable cases and I ended up purchasing a rather expensive leather slip case. Whilst very nice it isn't that practical. This Icarer case is just as stylish, looks just as classy and fits the Macbook perfectly. Highly recommended!

Love this cover. Was so surprised at the quality. This soft leather is so much better than all the plastic ones out there. I have owned many and this is my favourite to date.The black leather cover gives my Mac such a classy feel.I wish they did more covers for Mac's so I could purchase similar for my older machines.Highly recommended from me.The plastic clasps hold the cover nice and snug.(3 month update)This case still looks and feels as good now as when I purchased it. It looks so good and stealthy as the Apple logo is covered. It has a great executive vibe.

No need to buy other MacBook hardshell cases.Little bit pricy but always the best.

I made sure my Macbook was the right size and model specified in the description but the case still didn't fit. Not even close.
