GRAUGEAR 3.5 Inch Front Panel Hub, 4 Ports Internal Metal USB Hub, 2X USB-C 1...

Just what I needed. Building a new computer for wife to hopefully be good for years. The MB had a new type USB C port The case had no usb C port but does have 3" front panel knockout. This gives me two more type A usb3 and added two USB C 3 ports on front. As bonus, system will boot from these extra ports, unlike PCI added ports on my computer. It was a pain getting the unit physically attached but that had more to do with the case not having easy access to retaining screws. Still not as bad as the finger cutting setups of the early 2000's.

Easy installation, sturdy product, and transfer rate of USB Type-C is perfect.

I was upgrading my motherboard but re-using the old case. This was an easy way to add USB 3/2 ports to the front panel. The data cable plugged right into my motherboard. Installation was super easy--just placed it in an unused 3.5" bay, plugged in power and data cable, and good to go! No setup required.

Pros: looks nice. Great concept. Cons: long delays in hardware recognition (up to 20 seconds for flash drives), too wide to fit (about 1/16 inch over spec), wouldn't go to sleep. The last one was a biggie. Since it acts like a usb device, it would wake the pc up as soon as the pc went to sleep. Had to turn off wake on usb to get sleep (no more mouse jiggle...have to push power button to wake up). Sent email to support, never got an answer.

As soon as I installed this hub my Win11 PC refuses to sleep or hibernate. If I force sleep or hibernation, the PC will get to the point where the power shuts off; but then immediately the PC powers on and wakes up. When I unplug the hub from the USB32 port on the motherboard the PC returns to normal operation. Just disabling the drivers does not resolve the problem. I am very disappointed because otherwise the unit is built very well and operates exactly as advertised. I will be returning the unit and looking for one with the exact specifications that uses a different hardware device. Buyer Beware!

Build is metal rather than plastic and fits exactly into a floppy bay. I had purchased this unit before the motherboard I intended to install it on arrived and sent an email to Graugear support asking if it would plug into the mb (in my email to them I had sent a link for the mb that I would be using their USB panel). Within half a day a tech responded assuring me that it would work. Sure enough, it plugged in and worked perfectly.

I needed extra USB ports on my new build. THis was easy to install and plugs into mother board and a SATA power plug. Fast USB with this. Fit in my old DVD drive slot. Very happy with this.

Zeer snelle gegevensoverdracht. Het moederbord moet wel over de juiste aansluiting beschikken en de USB stick moet natuurlijk ook 3.2 gen 2x2 zijn.

*Please read updates at end...* I don't often bother to leave reviews, but... Weeks delayed in shipping from Amazon (despite showing in stock) aside, this item seemed to be exactly what I was looking for. 10 Gbit/s at the front of the PC. It even says on their website "puts an end to “crawling under the table and behind the PC”.". In reality it does not appear to be correct. It would appear that it only runs 5 Gb per port, I have only had one device to test with, but it doesn't go over on any port. (In fact CDM shows 480MB/s). If I crawl under the desk and plug the same drive and same cable in to the back of the PC I get 10, (over 1000 MB/s in CDM). I would be really happy if support contacted me to tell me I was doing something wrong, or had a firmware update or something, but I think the reality of this is that it is not as described. Shame it took so long for me to be able to test and find out, otherwise it would have gone back. Was tempted to put one star, but for what it does actually do it seems fine. Update: As mentioned by another reviewer, for some reason this blocks sleep/wakes the computer. I have had to disable all USB wake options which is a little bit annoying... Update 2: So after a lot of digging the "Key-A" motherboard connection that everyone refers to as 3.2 Gen 2, is actually on my Gigabyte motherboard only Gen 1, so looks like people aren't referring to it correctly or Gigabyte are just being odd. Very odd as it has rear Gen 2 ports that work at 10Gbps... Still wakes up though unless I disable keyboard and mouse wake up...

Funciona muy bien. El móvil lo carga con rapidez, y los datos también van muy fluidos. Estoy contento con la compra. Ahora tengo cuatro puerto rápidos en el frontal del PC. Hay que mencionar que, si la caja no tiene la bahía de dimensiones adecuadas, hay que montarlo en un adaptador, que hay que comprar por separado. Por lo demás, perfecto.
