ALLIMITYRC-799M Remote Control Replacement for Onkyo AV Receiver TX-SR309 HT-R548 HT-S5405 HT-R391 HT-R558 HT-R590 HT-R591 TX-SR313 HT-S3505

After my Onkyo's remotes gradual decline finally took out the on/off and volume buttons I looked around for a replacement. I bought an expensive actual Onkyo RC-737M replacement but found it didn't access the sound menus and at something near £60 I sent it back. A reviewer mentioned this remote could control vol and on and off of my amp( the basic needs) and it does. Wish I had bought it sooner. I still keep the old remote for getting into deeper settings (it just about manages it) but this cheap (under £10) replacement brings back everyday functionality.

Just a great replacement and has all the special command buttons I needed for my receiver. Ace.

I have a Onkyo TX-SR577, purchased November 2009. My original RC-737m RECEIVER button stopped working. I could not manage to open the remote to clean inside. I could also not find the same remote for sale anywhere. With RECEIVER button not working the remote was useless. So I bought this RC-799M, in hope that it might provide at least some of the most essential functions. (It is not made by Onkyo. The build quality is not as good as the genuine Onkyo remote, but acceptable). It provides me with many functions. I can use the RECEIVER button to connect with the Onkyo, and then the AUX, CBL/SAT, BD/DVD and TV/CD buttons to choose amongst the 4 HDMI inputs. The orange ON button, setup button, dimmer, return, white VOL button, and listening mode buttons all work. I have had to reprogram my Onkyo to use CBL/SAT rather than TV/TAPE which I had previously been using with the RC-737m. (The RC-779M has no TV/TAPE button.) It also has no MUTING button and cannot be programmed to switch on/off my TV. But the main thing I need is the RECEIVER button, buttons to select HDMI inputs, volume and listening mode controls - these the RC-799M does provide. So I can recommend this remote for TXSR577 and TXSR507 i you cannot get the RC-737M or RC-736M.

Value for money remote controller. Comparable to the original. All the buttons are there. Top Class.

Does the job but came damaged with a crack in the case at the top of the back end below the number buttons.

Was looking for a replacement remote and after searching this was top of the list. The listing didn’t mention the receiver I have so it was my fault that I didn’t check the details that it wasn’t the same as my original remote. All the receiver switching functions, volume etc. worked OK but it wasn’t possible to program it to control other devices which is what I wanted. If you have any of the devices listed then I am pretty sure you will be happy with it.

Only worked for on and off and volume nothing else.

Good item, no programming needed. Easy to use.

Mi mando original había empezado a fallar y este lo ha sustituido perfectamente. Se nota que es un producto de menor calidad sobre todo por el peso del mando respecto al original, pero funciona perfectamente y tiene las mismas funciones, así que por el precio que tiene nada que objetar.

suite à l'achat d'un ampli onkyo d'occasion je me suis retrouvé avec une télécommande d'origine qui ne fonctionnait pas correctement. donc je me suis retrouvé avec l'obligation d'en racheté une autre. suite aux commentaires sur aAmazon je l'ai acheté. une fois reçu je n'ai rencontré aucuns problèmes. RAS.fait son job.je conseille ce produit

L’ho preso per verificare se funziona anche con il mio TX-NR808, anche se non e’ citato tra i modelli compatibili. Funziona con tutti i tasti che richiamano correttamente le varie funzioni. Fatto, bene e solido, non ha nulla da invidiare all’originale ! A questo prezzo poi !
