I was consistent in reapplying this and I didn't get one bite. I was absolutely over the moon. The smell is OK and it is great that it is natural.

I found this mosquito repellent to be useful to apply throughout the day, providing I remembered to apply it again roughly every 6 hours. It certainly prevented me from getting bitten. The scent was ok, and it didn't send me into a sneezing fit which is good. What lets this down is that if you apply it at night before bed and are sleeping 6-9 hours, you wont be protected for your final few hours sleep. Therefore, you'll need to either take the risk, or use another longer last product at night. So in short; good to use during the day, not so good to use at night.

Finally a product that works! I’m just back from Spain. I usually get loads of Mosquito bites but this time I got absolutely NONE because I of this spray. My kids weren’t and committed at applying it and got bites the evenings they hadn’t applied it! Smell isn’t great but who cares when it works!Would highly recommend.

I was having seriously problem being bit every time I was outdoors and saw this and saw it had alright reviews. However this did not work for me, I am still getting bit just as much as before

I decided not to go for the DEET. It is effective and supposed to be safe, so long as you use it correctly, but then it says it’s not to be used on the under twelves, which doesn’t feel one with confidence. This non-DEET version appears to originate from Leicestershire. This is based on Wintergreen oil. That is generally really strong-smelling, so I was worried I would smell like I had a bad back all day long. However, doesn’t have much of a scent, which is good in one respect, but how is it going to keep the bugs away? I used today, on my wood walk, I didn’t get bitten, but and a horsefly got into the car with me. So he wasn’t that deterred.

The insects just love my staffie during the summer months. Always getting bit. Visits to vets are a usual occurrence for skin rashes after being bit. Hopefully found an answer with this spray. Fingers crossed
