The packaging was very nice. The quality of the paint was way better than I expected, I would recommend this for beginners who are just trying to have some fun!

I ordered the set to try out. I have quite a few paints from this company and they are all very amazing. They are flexible leather and multi textile paints. I have had no problems with adhesion over time, cracking, flaking or any other issues that you get out of normal acrylic paint. I highly recommend that you try the entire line. This is a great starter set for anyone who wants to try the products.

I used this on a cloth/fabric surface and so far so good. The colors are decent and you have enough to mix a lot of other colors if you feel so inclined. I prefer working in thin layers (to avoid cracking) and I found I needed two coats on average,, depending on the color or effect desired which is pretty good. The brushes aren’t great, but I had some acrylic paint brushes laying around and they worked great.

I know this paint is supposed to be flexible, but when I tried it out on my faux leather materials the opacity came out super sheer and thin. Like I'd tried to paint with dish-washing fluid. When the paint was dried, it had a tacky, plastic-y feel to the touch.In addition to that, did I mention this stuff smells like turpentine? Without even opening the heavily sealed containers, you can whiff of paint thinner just by getting close to the box. If you plan to use these in any serious capacity, I'd suggest wearing gloves simply because I don't know what is causing that caustic smell.For what its worth, this paint cleans up fine with regular soap and water like acrylics.But I don't think I like these enough to use them again.

These would be great for that artist in your life. What you get is a a very high quality acrylic paint with some additional brushes and whatnot. I was pleasantly surprised by how well it laid on both leather and the PU faux leather, as well as how durable it was. If you know a sneaker head or a leather hobbyist this would put a smile on their face for sure…

I did some experimenting with it and it's pretty good paint. I used it on a pair of sneakers for a fun outfit, and was happy with the results. It took a couple layers of paint to get really bold color. I think this is great for fun casual projects. Good bang for your buck.

What a great idea to add some designs to my kids shoes! I'm not an artist by any means so I used a stencil instead and it worked well. I will also be trying some more designs on my daughters shoes or even letting her paint some of them herself. This paint is great because it's flexible, has all the primary colors to mix any palette you want and it doesn't crack off.

This kit is almost a full kit, and appears to be - though as you read the instructions there's 2 things not included that they say you should use to prep the surface before painting: The AlphaFlex Stripper & Sole Skuffers - You can kind of compensate for this are use buffing pads or sandpaper if you are careful.. but I feel like it would have been nice to have that included to make it a fully encompassed kit.You are however provided with all the primary colors - meaning you can mix to make other shades and colors - and have all the colors of the rainbow, you are also provided with a white and black so you can darken or lighten any shades you mix, they also give you a bottle of "flexible additive", as well as a set of brushes.The brushes aren't the best quality - but ultimately that's not really what this kit is for, and you can and probably are going to want to pick up a separate set of brushes anyways to really utilize this kit.The included brushes tended to be a bit harder to use, and more streaky - however regardless of your brushes you will likely need 2-3 coats depending on how bold you want your design to be, layer it vs. just trying to pack it on so you can maintain better flexibility and have less chance of cracking.The bottle are a bit smaller, but most likely will still last quite a while unless you are doing fully painted sneakers and multiple pairs, etc. The paints are made to be weather proof. They are also fast drying, so keep that in mind when you are mixing paints and for your worktime.
