These stupid things annoy those who need to use them, and if you are new to it, you will not necessarily find it easy (or fearful of blood, etc.) but you will likely have to do it if you, well, if you need to do it, and it will get easy. Sad though, for sure.Comfort level, well, there is nothing especially bad about it but until there is alternative tech or a cure to replace it, then as good as likely to be. I suppose there nothing like a fish hook or bent needles in there, which maybe is what the intent was here, and it does use the fast jab spring system, with needles of a suitable (and not unnecessarily deep or wide) size, so...well, that is as good as I can do on a review of comfort of a needle prick. How did that go?

Essential for administering insulin to control blood glucose for diabetic patients, and as such, it is always a good idea to have some backup stock to fall back on in case of emergency. These 4mm needles are individually wrapped in sterile packaging, minimising any chance of contamination during use. They are well-made and thin, I have not encountered any problems, such as leaking or blockage. The needles are easy to use, they fit my novomix pens and cause minimal to no discomfort. They are about the same price as my usual prescription brand, which sounds fair. The product is a good backup option and I am happy to recommend it.

This is a great pack of 100 needles which seem to be of the same quality as more well known brands. The box comes sealed with a sticker on the top (which is important) and has some very simple and easy to understand instructions for how to use the needles with added pictures inside the box. I've used a variety of pen tips/needles for insulin pens over the years, the most recent being unifine and bd. My current pentips are 6mm in length so I was curious to see what 4mm needles are like.The needles attach easily to my autopen (even though it's not one of the listed pen devices on the box - probably as the manufacturer, Owen Mumford, isn't so well known), and basically I believe they should fit virtually any insulin pen out there. If you can fit a BD pentip this should fit fine too. They seem to be the same as BD pentips in terms of their size where you screw it onto the pen and somehow seem to attach even better than them due to the fact they just seem to be a bit more secure when screwed on.I don't feel any difference when actually injecting with this. It isn't more painful and in fact I have found the shorter needle helpful as I so far haven't hit a blood vessel when injecting with these though that sometimes has happened to me before with the 6mm ones. They are as comfortable as any of the pentips I have used in the past from more well known manufacturers, no worse and the shorter length is especially good if you have less fat on the body as you don't want to go injecting close to a muscle. Just be sure to have the needle go all the way into your skin and wait a moment before removing it as, if you inject a larger amount, it can sometimes spill out if you pull the pen needle out too fast (and then you won't always get an accurate dose of insulin).So in conclusion, these seem to be very good and a great box to get if you are looking for extra needles than those you get on prescription.

It’s quite difficult to know what to write for a review of insulin pen tips. These are 1mg lighter than those I have prescribed but the same gauge, I got them as spares, as that is always useful. They fit my pens perfectly, are all hygiene sealed, the inner sheath seems to fit more solidly than my normal brand. No problem in use that I have detected. Slightly pricier than my normal brand retails for a box of the same number.

Price at review: £11.99So these are proper medical grade pen tips produced by a very large medical equipment supplier based in Turkey. They are the real deal from a big established company.I tested these with novorapid and it is the end of the cartridge which the tip screws on to, so no matter what pen you use it will work fine with novorapid. I expect this end piece is standardized between all almost all insulins. See the box photo where they claim an extremely wide range of compatibility.They work great and I can't tell any difference between them and other pen tips that have used previously.I think the price seems very reasonable considering the eye watering price I once had to pay at a holiday chemist when pen tips hadn't been packed - but that was a long time ago so perhaps prices have come down, but I think these stack up well and I would have no problem recommending them to anyone who needs them and for whatever reason is not receiving them on prescription.

This is a good size box of Set lance Diabetic insulin pen tips you get 100 pen tips in a box individually sealed and they fit my diabetic insulin pen perfectly they are exactly the same size as my prescribed pen tips and are very fine needless that are comfortable and easy to use each needle is 4mm and clinically sealed in there own plastic casing great as an extra backup and a good value box would definitely recommend
