Super comfy trail shoes
This is my first pair of trail shoes having worn Saucony running shoes for running on tarmac in the past. They are really comfortable and fit securely. It’s only a shame I have to get them muddy.

Excellent trail shoe
I bought these to replace a battered pair of Saucony Xodus ISO which have served me faithfully over 1,000kms of trails. These shoes immediately felt comfortable - bit like putting on old friends. I did a 5km try out run and all was good, so did 14km on trails with no problems. So what do I like about these shoes? Most of all is the highly supportive inner 'glove' that encloses your foot. This makes the shoe very stable on broken surfaces such as rocky or rooty trails. I've never turned an ankle in these. Next I like the wide sole, giving stability and grip. The shoe is not over padded but does provide enough comfort without losing the feel of the trail beneath your feet. The lacing system is clever as the laces are gripped at each turn giving you the ability to have tight/less tightly laced sections throughout the shoe. They are not the lightest shoe, but have enough spring in them to counteract this. Last, the build quality is really good compared with other shoes I've owned. All my running is on trails and the shoes are used hard. Eventually the uppers split on my old pair, but that seems fair enough given the way they're treated. I like these shoes so much I bought a second pair to keep boxed until needed.

Fantastic shoe
Arrived ahead of schedule so great service. The shoes are very comfortable, they really hug your feet, and provide just the right balance between plush and response that you'd want in a trail shoe. They do have a bit of support, which is great for a pronator like me, but not as much as my Brooks. I got these for my longer trail runs and ultimately for trail half-marathons and so far couldn't be happier.

Awesome comfort
Best trail shoes by far enough said.Had the exodus 11 loved them but these are a step forward, and only my opinion, but so much better than Hoka one one speed goats.

Great for Trail Running
I've worn these for plenty of trail running including two 50ks and a 50 miler. The fit is perfect - not too narrow and plenty of room in the toebox (for reference, I found the Speed 2s to be too narrow, but wear a medium width in ASICS). They're extremely lightweight and comfortable for trail running. Great grip in all conditions. The only thing they didn't excel at was road running. My last race had an 8mi section of road in the middle and the rest trail. My feet were killing me by the end of the road running. I've worn them through stream crossings and in rain and they remain comfortable when wet and dry out fast. Couldn't ask for much more.

Muy buenos y cómodos
Me gusta esta marca solo que a comparación a los otros modelos algo reducido en el ancho, pero excelentes para el trail y los materiales de primera

Top trail runner frim Saucony!
The Xodus Ultra is a long distance trail shoe (if the 'ultra' doesn't give it away already) with massive 4mm lugs. It is super-comfortable without being squishy. Drop closer to 7mm than the advertised 6mm but no big deal though I am more used to lower drops, like the 4mm Saucony Mad River TR which is both wider and closer to the ground. This is a 2nd generation Xodus. The previous iteration (Xodus 12) was heavy, clunky and definifely not a conteder.I have only put about 20-25km on them so far, but the build quality looks top notch as expected from Saucony. As with other quality running shoes from Saucony, there is a break-in period (50km or so) at which time the comfort level increases. There's a carbon plate in the sole as well and you can feel it doing its job every time you step on a root or on a sharp rock. The force of the impact is quickly dissipated and you barely notice the bumps.Looking forward to a couple of longer trail races this summer and I know what I will be rolling in 😁
