I bought two different brand units at the same time. Put a brand new battery in each and mounted them in strategic areas of my yard to reduce barking, which they did. I will say that this unit seemed to deter barking more than the other, and I was going to give it a great review....until it began giving me low battery signals only 2 days after I installed it with a brand new battery!!! So it works if great if you want to go through 9 volt batteries every 2 days. I read the directions, I was using it correctly, not on test mode. Not happy.

This product worked miracles for our home until the batteries died, only 24 hours later. We have Caucasian Ovcharkas, who bark at a whisper in the wind. My husband and I haven't slept for weeks when we decided to buy these. Initially, our dogs immediately stopped barking. I mean, it was instant. The second we turned these on, they were totally quiet. The next night, when we turned them on to go to sleep in peace, we discovered the batteries were dead. The batteries had been purchased from the store after the devices were delivered, they were new.Not sure why the battery life is so short, but the cost of replacing the batteries to use this device makes is not cost effective. I hope this company develops and sells a plug-in version of this thing. We'll buy at least five of them for our yard and our house.

I never could get it to work. Brand new batteries, replaced twice. It blinked green every 5 seconds like it was working. I have 2 miniature schnauzers. They all but laughed at the box. It did not deter anything. So disappointed especially considering the price.

My belief is that these need to be aimed right at the dog barking. I don’t have time to go point this thing at my dig everytime they bark. This one just didn’t work for us. We bought a handheld device which is much more convenient.

Had a similar item years ago and was not impressed. I didn't hold out much hope for this one because of it's size and the dogs in question, but it does the job and my neighbor doesn't have a clue.

I got this to stop my dog from barking whenever the garage opens and it hasn't phased him, even when he's right next to it Don't recommend.
