Review: Amazing pad for fighting games. - I play Tekken and this is perfect. The D-pad clicks when you press and let go. It gives a good confirmation feeling. The buttons are the opposite. No clicks just a smooth press. It's basically the opposite of a normal pad. This is great for fighting games in particular. Its light muchthan a normal pad. Its perfect for claw grip of course. And right now its the only fight pad that has a audio input. The one thing i think they can definitely improve on is the R2 and L2 buttons. They're designed like how you would hold it normally. However in claw grip its a little off. They should just make the R2 and L2 buttons the same as the L1 and R1 buttons. That way you can press them easier. They need to be longer not wider. I understand the problem with the d pad not having a pivot to prevent misinputs. However you can get around it by using the d pad more precisely and honestly you should learn to play more precisely. In fact this pad in general helps you play more precisely. Lastly I want to talk about the lack of analogs. Because of this you can't play any games that require them. (FPS) It would be interesting if they added them. It would reach more consumers. However even if they did, it wouldn't be as good as a normal pad with analogs. You would have to make room on this pad by moving the buttons more to the right. Width wise it would work, but this would also make the pad longer. I don't know if that would work. What I don't recommend is buying this product from this seller. The reason why I say this is because I have bought this controller in June of this year , 2 months later , controller was giving me issues, my down backward was not working like it used to be, I have reached out to Razer so they can give a replacement controller under the 1 year warranty that they have , however, sinnce this seller is not a authorize reseller , Razer will not validate your warranty. It will only work on PS5 with PS4 games. **Q: Has razer added a middle pivot to the d-pad to fix the neutral skip problem?** A: Yes. I just received mine today and it did actually have a pivot under the D-Pad. It is impossible to press left and right at the same time on this controller now. Apparently there was a revision at some point to fix the neutral skip problem but it's hard to find news from Razer over the matter. For what it's worth, I can at least confirm that my Raion model did have the pivot straight out of the box. **Q: How durable is the controller?** A: I’ve had two of these and I’ve always seemed to accidentally step on them and both headphone ports are messed up. However, charge characters might be tricky and very hard to play properly. Going from one direction to the opposite will can't be done reliably. Face buttons feel hollow with no resistance on the way down, but they spring back up nicely. The controller itself feels hollow, made of plastic and has very little weight to it. The feel grows on you though, as it allows you to tap those buttons fiercely and fast. The feature it has of swtiching on which side you want to have L1 and L2 is very welcomed, and also it allows you to plug it on PC. It's a good controller but I'd recommend getting it on sale or used.
