Forest Master heavy duty 7 Ton 3hp Electric Log Splitter wood cutter timber axe duoblade (FM10D-7)

What an amazing piece of kit, it does exactly as it says and splits logs with ease.What was I thinking of using a hand axe and a lump hammer to split my logs, I should have bought one two years ago when we inherited our log burning stove..No need to buy the stand unless you are doing this for a living, I have it standing on a couple of crates I sit down to do the splitting and it is solid as a rock, first class product.

The product was delivered a day earlier which was great. There was minor assembly required, which included attaching a handle and screwing a few feet in. It would have been nice to have a sheet explaining which nuts and bolts to use, to take away the guess work. But that’s a minor point. I’ve been using it a few days and it so much less hassle than trying to use the axe! So far so good!!

Great piece of kit that does exactly what the manufacturer said it would. Takes the effort out of log splitting completely and makes short work of even the knottiest wood. Another great plus is that my wife loves to use it and I can get on with other things!! One slight niggle at the start as I was under the impression from the advert wording that I had bought one complete with stand but had not however I made a large bench from scaffold and sat the splitter on there at a working height and am now happy I did not get a stand.Anyone thinking of getting one do not delay, your wife will love it

Used for first time today and could not fault it. Made easy work of hardwood even large knots. Excellent build quality and easy to use. Very impressed.

What a relief from chopping wood, this machine is excellent. Only drawback is the weight being heavy andperhaps advisable to buy the stand as well to raise it from the ground, otherwise one is bending down and at my age that's a problem in itself. My only moan is that for the price, one would have thought two small front wheels plus a small can of topping up oil and an allen key would have been included. Delivery was amazing, it came next day. This splitter is unreal we really put it to work cannot say a bad word on it
