We bought this mailbox as a simple upgrade, and it checks all the boxes. The galvanized steel feels thick and solid, not paper-thin like some cheaper boxes. It gives a sturdy, well-built feel when you open and close the lid, and the black color finish looks clean and modern against our siding. Functionality-wise, it works exactly as expected. The top lid has a nice overhang that helps keep rain out, and there’s enough space inside to hold several days of standard mail without things getting crammed. Envelopes, flyers, and small packages fit comfortably, and the opening is wide enough that our mail carrier has no issues. Installation was straightforward, the included hardware made it easy to mount, and once it’s up, it feels secure. It’s held up great in different weather conditions with no rust, warping, or moisture inside. For the price, the quality is impressive. If you’re looking for a well-made, functional mailbox that doesn’t take up too much space but still gets the job done, this is a great choice.

This is such a great mailbox -- especially for me who does not get a ton of mail. It was easy to hang on my lamp post with some simple clips and now I can finally reach my mail. My other mailbox was deep but not very wide. I had trouble getting the mail out and trouble reaching small envelopes that fell to the bottom. The mailman also appreciates this latest edition at my house. He said it makes it easier for him too. I put black vinyl tape on the inside to cover the mounting holes so rain can't get in the mailbox since I have mine out on the sidewalk and not flat up against my house. It adds a very classy look on my black lampost. It is sturdy and well made.

The mailbox itself is great, good quality and exactly as described. Note: this item does not come with the screws required to install it! That made for an extra trip to the hardware store, which is the reason for the four-star review. Otherwise it would have been five

Easy to install, set in place, stick a marker through each hole, drill and fill. You do have to leave the the screws out about 1/2 inch to catch the holes. Then screw one in the middle hole to lock it in place. 5 minutes it was on the wall.

This mailbox was a great addition to our porch renovation. We wanted simple, black, and something light enough so that it didn't make noise, and this was perfect. It looks the same as when we bought it even after rain, snow storms, and extreme heat.

I’ve had this for a year and it looks brand new still. No rust and it’s very good quality

I should have given it a little more thought at reading into the description as it is just the mail box, no accessories included. It does say it now that i go back to read it, but by the time i opened it it was passed the return date. It was cheap and good thats why i purchased it, Still cheap after having to go and buy my own screws. Worth it but probably won't purchase again just for the inconvenience of not everything coming in one box.
