VPN Router by Betterspot with Lifetime VPN Service - WiFi Security and Privacy, Protect All Devices and Unblock Sites

Not fast at all I get 150 mbs normally with speed test I did speed test after hooking up to this and I was getting 5 mbs unacceptable! I tried different servers also was the same or worse speed. So their claim of Blazing fast speed is a lie. Definitely not worth $175 I highly recommend if you're looking for a VPN router keep looking!

Not fair the 5 stars given to this product! I don't have a NO STAR option, but It deserves -10. The item came sealed in a black box, however, when I unboxed it, I found it was full of scratches like it has been already used. The VPN connects, but the speed is extremely poor, no more than 2 MB/S on LAN! Seriously? And the excuse that this has to do with your ISP, speed tier, is simply not accurate. I have X1 Gigabit Pro, 2G per second, and like I said, I texted no more than 2MB/S download, upload speed was slightly higher. Nothing as described! Unless you have a significant experience "Expert-level" on VPN, Routers, and networks, I would stay away from investing in this equipment. It simply doesn't work as described. I contacted their customer service, it took them 2 days to respond an open ticket as they don't have any other way of communication. Do your research online. Thank you Amazon for allowing me to return this equipment!

An amazing and super simple portable VPN router. Moreover it comes with free lifetime subscriptions! It comes with nice simple features for example you can connect router to internet source not only via wired LAN or wifi then it produces VPN, TOR or DIRECT (local network) connection.It also comes with ios/androip app to manage through while many vpn routers only can manage thru web interface. You can select different server location manually too. Honestly I am testing reliability of this vpn connection as in past my vpn connection does not work well, lets wait and see!This is my 2nd purchase

The unit bought was operating for a while and now it cannot connect anymore. Have written to Betterspot several times but no response whatsoever.2 years have passed and no response from Betterspot.

I bought the router because I had to move to Angola for work, so I could keep enjoying Amazon Fire tv and Netflix, and it did not work, have tried to connect using different routers, and it didn't work either it just keeps telling that there is no connection to internet, I think the whole thing is a huge scam. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT, SAVE YOUR MONEY !!!!!!

You can’t get thier servers to connect. Great idea, but no corporyintegrity or support. Don’t buy.

11 months use update:I bought it and paid for lifetime of VPN.Doesn't work Most of the time ( in Red Mode)Customer service doesn't even respond

When actually following directions and using primarily in wired mode it works perfectly after firmware update.In direct mode I am able to connect to work VPN with no issues.Works through switch flawlessly.Netflix is cracking down on VPN usage, don't expect this to bypass that.
