Excellent purchase
Very good quality. Good weight. Big enough steamer for vegetables for three. Convinced me to switch to stainless steel cookware. Been used many times in two months and looks new.

Best Quality, Great Saucepan
18/10 stainless pans are my favorite. The price for this saucepan is amazing. I also have the steamer basket. Steam escapes through the spout on the saucepan. To solve this problem, simply put the edge of a cloth, or paper towel between the saucepan's spout and the steamer basket. This is the perfect solution since I like to steam fish and chicken breasts with this pan. I have no other observations, or criticism for this pan. The finger (oven) mitts are exciting to me, I use them to move the steamer basket. I am so happy to have a culinary quality saucepan. Without this pan from Buttermelt, I would be less excited.

Extremely Well Made
I feel like this will last a generation or more. Not only is it very solid, it’s well designed. The pot has a very helpful pour spout. The lid has two sets of drainage holes that allow liquids to be easily drained while holding the cover in place.

Works well with induction
We switched to an induction range and our daily driver soup pot no longer worked. We found this saucepan and took a chance since it was supposed to work on induction. It arrived very well-packaged with a drawstring bag and 2 silicone handle holders included. It works very well with induction, seems to heat fast and evenly. We also like the brushed finished plus it's the perfect size for 4 servings of soup and then some. Our old one was a 1 quart saucepan and it was always boiling over. The measurement markings on the inside is also very useful since my wife always measures out the liquid when making miso soup. It feels like it will hold up well over time. It's very well made for the price and we're glad to replace the old one, which was missing part of a handle rivet but didn't feel like it was reason enough to replace it.

Nice, indeed, but the box they came in states Made in China…strike one.
These are nicely made but seem lighter weight than I expected. I hope that they don’t ding/dent/scratch easily…but the wrap around thermal tri-ply is a positive direction for me. I’ve purchased both the 1.5 Qt and the 3.5 Qt. (with steamer topper) and really do anticipate good cooking on my inductive cook top.

Looks and feels premium
It's a pot. It holds water/food while getting heated from an element below--I think it'd be hard to screw this up. So I hesitated to spend as much as this costs, but it feels premium in ways that I think justifies it. The metal has a pale platinum sheen to it, that I think looks really nice. It's thoughtfully designed, including with the neat engraved volume measurements. And even though it shouldn't matter, the packaging that it comes in also feels quite premium, which also inspires confidence in the quality of the product. As for how easy it is to clean, I'd really hesitate to use it for anything other than boiling stuff in water (pasta is primarily what I got it for). But soap, water and elbow grease can always do the job no matter how much of a mess you make, and you don't have to worry about being gentle with it the way you do with non-stick coatings.

No Hot Handle
Tried first time and was impressed. It is on the expensive side but it sure is worth every penny. It’s heavy and you better have strong wrist. Tried steamer with Broccoli, carrots and cauliflower and they were steamed/ cooked were nicely . Another thing that impressed me was that the handle doesn’t get hot. So far very pleased with my purchase.
