Slendertone Ab Belts Gel Pads - Black

They work with the slendertone tens machine for toning the abdomen area, they are replacement adhesive pads. These technically can actually last 5 or 6 years or so, if you do what I do.After they become less effective after 30 to 365 days or so and they lose the conductive power, what you need is muscle gel the ones they use in electronic ultra sound tens machine gel etc.. and lube up the area place the sticky back on and let the gel go all over the pads, then take the sticky film off and place it as you normally use the slendertone machine, then use as usual, what this does is help the electrical pulse conduct to your skin in short spikes, the power isn't as strong as when you would just use these sticky pads, but it comes close and you can always put the power up on the machine to simulate a brand new set of adhesive slendertone stickies.This I did from 2017-2022 at which I bought another 2 of these to last me another 10 years lol, the funny thing is you keep and re-use and as long as you take good care of it, you can actually extend it upto 6 years maybe even more. Eventually after 8 years or so they do start to wane and rip away, but I would suggest a good 5 years of taking good care of it and then replace them, the only thing you would need to keep buying is the tens gel, which technically is cheaper than paying for this 11 quid every 30 days or so.These pads have poor adhesion towards the fabric, but better adhesion on the skin, sometimes peels off the slendertone belt, so I have to peel it off by holding the edges where the pads are, and slowly peeling it off my skin, I suggest also doing this with the power diss-connected.I once shocked myself by just pausing the device and moving it around my body, it wasn't painful just a light tingle, but can be annoying and even discomfort, so just make sure its off and disconnected from the main belt before moving it around your body or off your body, and make sure the pads cover the silver buttons fully so adjust carefully.

I am a Gym addict & exercise both at home and at my local Gym Club.Slender tone has always been my helping tool. I have got the belt, the arms pads.So I find Amazon prices very good & will continue to purchase any further Slender tone pads,

Great replacements for the slendertone belt but they do deteriorate relatively quickly however use can be prolonged by covering the pads between uses

thay are ok but same price as other places

May I just say that I agree with other reviewers here regarding their comments vis a vis the slendertone system, however, from my experieince, whilst the system is good, the pads only last around a month before they start to wear. It may be because I am hirsute and I realise that most of the reviewers on this product are probably not, as they are all ladies, however, after a month, I notice that they do get quite worn. I am fortunate in that I have been able to acquire some gel from work, which we use with patients to undertake medical tests (I purchase it from them), which extends the life of the pads for a week or so, but ultimately becomes a bit messy and so I purchase replacements.I suppose at just under £9.00 a month for a toned up abdomen, which sadly I cannot exercise like I did in my youth, they are worth the money, however, I would not give them a five star rating on the basis that we use products of s similar nature at work for diagnostic tests on humans, similar size and certainly the same type of material and gel and I can by almost 200 for the price that I pay for these.

Sticks to Abs8 unit perfectly fine, however on repeated uses of removing plastic film to use the unit, the border of the adhesive will lift, stretch and occasionally slightly tear.

These Slendertone Conductive Pads are great & they do, exactly what they were made for...however, please make sure you have a leather strap, to bite down on, when you are removing them...they are exceptionally adhesive and aren't for the fainthearted !!!

I am totally bemused. The pads I received did not say SLENDERTONE on the pad covers. Said ON.? Am I going round the bend I ask myself? Are these Slendertone Pads?… They are tooo sticky..do not feel ok when belt is in use.. the belt rumbles all the time.. thought was the charger needed charging but no it didn’t. Have SLENDERTONE changed its name to ON? Or is it just a direction to put the cover ON the pad? Probably get some from ‘BOOTS’ to see if they are the same. Still going to bed… bemused.
