Must have for Night Shifters!
I've worked night shift on and off throughout my career, and I'm currently on again. This time around, I've been sleeping terribly. I figured it was time to give a sleep mask a try. I was initially skeptical about the Manta Pro simply from a cost standpoint. The price seemed a bit steep compared to the plethora of options, but I looked at this as an investment. Buy once, cry once, right? I'm glad I did. I've been using this for about a week now, and I'm sleeping better than I did before. It took a few times test fitting the eye cups so that I didn't get any light peeking through, but once I dialed it in, it works great. The mask is super breathable. I sleep with a fan on and can feel a little bit of air going through the mask, yet it truly is 100% blackout. I've found that it stays in position and doesn't slide around when I move. I'm strictly a side sleeper, and this mask is super comfortable. My quality of sleep has dramatically improved, even on the days where my body says "it's time to get up" after only 3 or 4 hours. I'm not waking up multiple times a night. I feel more rested when I do wake up. I'm falling asleep faster than before, and (usually) sleeping for longer. I think this is a great option for anyone looking for a sleep mask, but especially for anyone who works night shift. Do yourself a favor and get one. The benefits certainly outweigh the cost!

Best sleep mask out there
I've tried a few sleep masks after I started using them a couple years ago. After using mine for about a week I can say that the Manta Pro stands out head and shoulders above the rest. Yes, it's expensive. But it does make a compelling case. I was used to finding my sleep masks on the floor somewhere when I wake up. I'm not sure if they loosen up and slide off on their own or if I somehow manage to take them off while sleeping. That hasn't happened with the Manta. The strong, infinitely adjustable velcro combined with the gel "squiggle" on the inside of the strap means it stays put all night long even if I move about. The adjustable eye cups are also fantastic. I find that I usually get the most light leakage around my nose, so having two separate eye cups with the ability to space them exactly as necessary and leave a gap for the nose makes the mask more effective and increases its comfort. It took a couple adjustments to get them just so, but once they're where you need them you don't have to think about it again. Perhaps most importantly, it really does deliver on the promise of 100% blackout. Sleeping on my back, my side, or my stomach - no light gets in. One morning I managed to bump a wireless light switch on my headboard reaching for my phone to silence my alarm and turned the lights on to a full brightness setting. I went back to sleep and didn't even know the lights were on until I woke up again and took the mask off to look at the clock. Finally, the Manta Pro is extremely comfortable. It's never felt heavy, or hot, or uncomfortable in the slightest. The tapered eye cups keep it from feeling bulky if you turn your head to the side. Again, it might take you a couple tries to get the right balance of comfy and secure when putting it on, but once you're there you'll be golden. Overall, just a very well thought out and executed eye mask. If good sleep is important to you, the Manta Pro is worth a look.

Manta Pro Sleep Mask Delivers True 100% Blackout - A Must Buy for Migraine Sufferers!
I bought the Manta Pro Sleep Mask for my wife as a gift to replace the assortment of cheap sleep masks she’d accumulated over the years, and the difference has been dramatic. She genuinely loves this mask, and her sleep quality has improved noticeably—easily tenfold by her own account. I was skeptical at first, especially given the price, but curiosity got the better of me during a migraine recovery nap. That one use alone sold me. The darkness was instant and complete, and the comfort made it easy to fully relax, even during a short daytime rest. What immediately stands out is the 100% light blocking. This mask delivers true blackout, not “mostly dark.” The contoured eye cups completely eliminate pressure on the eyes while sealing out every bit of light, which makes it especially great for side sleepers. It stays in place throughout the night without shifting or needing constant adjustment. The build quality is excellent. Everything feels premium, from the breathable materials to the headband, which offers unlimited adjustment and reminds me a lot of the Apple Vision Pro headband in terms of comfort and fit. Once dialed in, it stays put without feeling tight or restrictive. Yes, it’s a bit pricey for a sleep mask, but the quality absolutely justifies the cost. This isn’t a disposable or “good enough” accessory—it’s a long-term sleep upgrade. As soon as I have a little extra room to splurge, I’ll be buying one for myself. Pros: True 100% blackout Extremely comfortable, even for side sleepers No pressure on eyes Premium materials and excellent adjustability Stays in place all night Cons: Pricey compared to basic sleep masks If sleep quality matters to you, this mask is worth every penny.

It's very, very good. Comfortable and lights out! About that price tho ....
I use this with a CPAP (nose pillows), and I love it. It is comfortable and stays on throughout the night. Highly recommended. I sleep so well, so soundly, so undisturbed now with this mask, I'm not sure I ever slept before. It _is_ expensive. No way around that. It's the reason I docked it one star. Is it really $50 better than the previous model? I don't know, I never had the previous model. Is it FAIR to dock it a star because it's expensive? Apparently, I think so, since that's what I'm doing. And yet ...the price is the ONLY qualm I have/ had about this product. Everything else is EXACTLY as promised; it performs 100% as advertised. Which you really can't say about much else in these gloomy days of the Enshi*tification of Everything.

The Best Sleep Mask on the Market, But with a Realistic Take on Its Claims
I'm afraid I have to downgrade my review. I've been using the mask for a month or so now and I can't speak well for longevity. 1. The velcro does not hold up. The fuzzy side of the velcro does what all velcro does over time, gets fuzzier and the teeth no longer hold as well. It has come out my head a couple of times now. 2. I believe the material has stretched. It no longer feels as snug in my head as it used to. Now I am hot headed, I sweat a lot at night. Does that contribute, I don't know. 3. The eye C cups are not as poofy as they used to be. They have taken on a deformation of form and no longer keep our 100% of the light unless placed exactly right and I don't move. So the mask is still a good mask. I still like it. I'm not saying it's terrible but I am saying I do not believe it is worth the $90 I paid for it. If menta pro sleep mask reads this, I hope they take not and fix the flaws or lower the price. ORIGONAL REVIEW: Let me start by saying this: the Manta Sleep Mask is, without a doubt, the best sleep mask I have ever used. It's in a league of its own, and despite some minor flaws, I don't regret my purchase and would buy it again. My goal here is to give a balanced review that highlights why it's so good while also offering a realistic perspective on its boldest claims. The selling points you see in their ads are valid, but they're not a flawless reality for all circumstances. 1. On 100% Blackout: The claim of "100% blackout" is generally true, but it doesn't take much movement to break the seal. When I first put it on in a well-lit room, it’s completely dark. However, when I lie down on my side, a small sliver of light can appear at the bottom. This is a non-issue at night since the room is already dark, but it’s something to be aware of if you're planning on using it for a daytime nap in a very bright room. 2. On Zero Eye Pressure: This selling point is completely accurate. The eye cups are incredibly well-designed. For 90% of the time, I can blink freely and don't feel any pressure on my eyes at all. If the mask shifts while I'm on my side, I might briefly feel my eyelashes touching the cup, but a minor adjustment immediately fixes it. This is a game-changer and a huge reason why the Manta stands out from other masks. 3. The Comfortable Fit (with a learning curve): The mask is exceptionally comfortable once you get the fit right. However, getting there can be a bit of a trial-and-error process. The Velcro is very strong, and making fractional adjustments to the eye cup placement can be challenging. Once you have it set to your face, though, it holds its position well and is very comfortable, even for side sleepers. 4. The Material: The material is breathable to a point. I tend to run hot, and I do find myself sweating with the mask on. While it washes easily, I’m concerned about the long-term effects of hot moisture and stretching. It feels a bit looser now than when I first bought it, which makes me question the value for the $85 price tag over time. 5. Side Sleeper Approved: I agree with their claim that it's the best mask for side sleepers. While it's not perfect and can require minor adjustments, it is by far the best option on the market if you sleep on your side. 6. Not a Hair Snagger: As a guy with short hair, I haven't had any issues with the Velcro snagging my hair. The design seems to work well in this regard. 7. On Improving Sleep Quality: This is where my biggest disagreement lies. While I might fall asleep a little faster due to the blackout, it doesn't fundamentally change the quality of my sleep. I'm a light sleeper, and the mask doesn't make me a deep one. I still toss and turn, wake up in the middle of the night, and wake up when my wife gets home. The main benefit for me is blocking the morning light, which allows me to get a few extra hours of sleep past 5 a.m. and makes daytime naps possible. In conclusion, the Manta Sleep Mask is truly the best you can buy. It's a premium product that is magnitudes more expensive than others for good reasons—primarily the unmatched eye pressure relief and side-sleeper comfort. While I think it's slightly overpriced given the potential long-term material issues and the fact that it doesn't magically fix all sleep problems, I do not regret my purchase. If something happened to this mask or it wears out, I will definitely buy a new one.

Expensive, but works well
I echo most of what the other reviews have stated: it’s very pricey for what it is, but it also works extremely well. It takes a little while to adjust to your liking, especially if you’ve never worn a sleep mask before. But once you do, it stays on all night and it does offer true blackout. (Although you’ll get a little bit of light bleed if not adjusted over the eyes properly). The first night I tried it, I felt a little bit of pressure and saw some light bleed. But the second night, made a minor adjustment and it fixed everything. The eye cups are comfortable and don’t put any pressure on your face, which is good because you do need to tighten the Velcro strap a bit in order to get no light bleed. Like other reviews have mentioned, the main issue is the price. Not just it being expensive in of itself, but this model specifically preying on side sleepers. As far as I can tell, the only real difference between this model and the standard (cheaper) model is the eye cups taper off at the ends for side sleeping. As a side sleeper myself, it seems unfair to have to pay extra for what is effectively the same thing as the standard model (and yes, I tried, the standard model doesn’t work well with side sleeping). This model also says it supports “accessories,” like being able to replace the standard eye cups with ones that have a cooling gel on them. Not something I’ve tried or will probably bother with, as I don’t feel too hot wearing this. I am giving the product five stars because it ultimately does exactly what it says it does, but the high price might be concerning for some.

Absolutely the best!
Review written after nightly use for seven months of continuous use. Can’t say more than it already well established in the reviews. However, will add my comments that this is by for the best sleep mask I have ever used: highest quality, best fit (easy to change), no issues. Have no issues with heat retention. As for being stretchy, it is not; however, that is a feature and not a bug: you want a mask that will keep its diameter and not compress your head (like cheap masks). If you wake up at night, you will find yourself doing some minor readjusting to move it higher on your head (it will naturally migrate down while you sleep). There is some rubberized lines that increase friction against your hair/scalp to keep it in place, but if you toss and turn like myself, it will move over time. But it migrating a bit does not detract from its effectiveness - it is just an issue with having a more snug feel on your head. While the high cost is very steep in a market filled with cheap (and cheaply made) products, I still recommend that the price is worth the product. Only note is that you need to wash the detachable eye covers every few weeks. It is easy to forget that your body oils will saturate the cloth over time and it will start to irritate your skin, which is your strong reminder that you should wash your mask. Just throw them in the sink with warm water and dish soap, wash/wring them by hand, rinse, and let them dry - good as new!

Seems to not have much givenfor the eye cushions
I love manta. I bought the original eye mask a couple years ago and it's been amazing. Only problem with the original one was that over time, the head strap became loose. So I couldn't wait to upgrade to this model after seeing the grippy things they added to the strap to help keep it in place. First, as I said, the original mask is awesome, so no hate to the company. However, today I finally bit the bullet and put in for a return. I tried for about a week and a half and no matter what I did, I couldn't get this mask to work. I don't know if the material is different for the eye pod things or what; for me they are too firm. Every time I used this mask, I would wake to a mild pressure headache around my eyes from where the eye cushions pushed too hard against my sinus area. Yes, I tried loosing the strap thinking it was too tight, however that not only didn't help, it also prevented the strap from staying in place. Last night, I reverted to using my original mask and not only did I sleep great, but I also woke to no headache. I promise you when I purchased the original, the only issue I ever had was lining up the eye pieces on the strap to be the perfect placement. I never experienced pain or discomfort from it. Which sucks...cause this is also a cute color to me. Oh well, if this happens to you, I recommend the original mask.

Worth it but at a high cost!
I work nightshift and was a very good decision to buy. It blocks the sun and it doesnt interfer with sleep whatsoever. The only slight negative side is the fact on hot days, it does make you sweat a bit and the price is a bit too high for a mask other than that its great. Highly recomend it.

Klare Empfehlung.
