Star Fleet Sessions 40th Anniversary Red Single

I love both the previous deluxe edition box sets. I was fortunate to play the waiting game on each and get each for around $30-$35.00 USD brand new from Amazon. While I listened to all the StarFleet content today via spotify, it is definitely going to need to be around $30.00 for me to pick this up. At the current price of $99-$109 the overall musical content is lacking. Yes Eddie Van Halen is present on Star Fleet and all the associated takes and jams, but honestly how many repeated listens will one have. Only at a rock bottom deep discounted price will this super deluxe edition box be worth it, especially getting the previous 2 at that price.Update 7/16/2023 - Brian May Back to the Light Super deluxe Box set is currently $22.69 new sold through Amazon....just to bring my above review to the point of maybe waiting a little bit to pick this up at a better price.

Teil 3 von Brian Mays Schaffenswerk. Wieder eine qualitativ hochwertige Box mit 2 CD's, einer LP, einer Single, Booklet und Anstecknadel. Soundqualität ist sehr gut. Man bekommt auch einen Eindruck, wieviel Spaß die Leute beim jammen gehabt haben müssen. Die zweite CD besteht nur aus 23 verschiedenen Takes von "Star Fleet" und "Let Me Out".Die Frage die sich stellt: WER braucht das??? Eigentlich niemand!!! Nur der Hardcore-Sammler wird daran gefallen finden.Wer die Musik vorher nicht kannte, sollte sich die Einzel-CD oder die LP kaufen.

As a massive eddie van halen fan i had to go for it purely for the 2nd disc of unreleaesd material, only available in this box, a nice cash grab for sure, if you are a fan then it's worth a listen, will i be playing it many times in the future? unlikely to be honest< the original release yes my only problem i when watching brian may do his unboxing of it on youtube did i realise that there seems to be a missing poster and at the price you are paying for it things like that should not happen
