No matter what I did I could get SWR to manage and checked everything. No response from the company

Spring-loaded antenna bounces out of its holder
I would have given this antenna kit five stars for its completeness, ease of installation, and reception except for one near-fatal flaw: The antenna is held by a spring in a cup, the idea being you can pull up on the antenna and fold it over for clearance in garages, etc. Except the spring on mine is so weak the antenna bounces out of it on the road and winds up waving around at a 45-degree angle, which I'm sure would soon be really bad for the spring. I had to tape the antenna to the base to keep it in place.
