Handy
I’m not a hunter (clarifying I have nothing against it if you eat the meat) my use for these is to put certain things that might attract wildlife since I’m an avid tent camper specially when there’s no bear box. Obviously this is no substitute for a bear box and one still needs to be careful but for items like toothpaste, deodorant, soap and other things that might attract bears it works, I know the size is an overkill for my needs but best to be safe than sorry. I wouldn’t leave it laying around but it’s certainly easier to carry for my everyday items and bring back to the car when no box is available or while hiking, less chances of a bear braking into the car, I just fold it smaller back in the car . I must admit I tested it by leaving an unopened can of sardines in the bag outside overnight and no wildlife bothered it, just one night for testing and yes bears and coyotes can smell through the can but apparently they didn’t through the bag, this was an area heavily populated by both, granted was only one night and I wouldn’t encourage making a habit of it, this was just a test, we must take responsibility for keeping the animals wild away from food and attracting scents. In essence I feel confident that it is a good addition to my camping gear.

Arrived dirty, holes on either side of the zipper
Based on reviews i assumed i had a good producted and stuck it in my coat closet as soon as it arrived. Pulled the package out to prepare for hunting season and of the two bags was filthy, looked to be covered in either long dried mildew or dark powdered dibree of some sort. Since I'm past the return window now that one went into the bin. The zipper design also leaves a little opening on either side at the top of the bag meaning it doesn't actually seal clothes in making it less effective as a scent proof bag.

Hunters friend
So, like most hunters, I have a rather large pile of gear that I wear during the season. And each year, I take painstaking steps to prep that gear with washing and drying and doing my best to keep it scent free. I have found a few ways to protect my gear from catching odors while sitting around. Everything from waterproof "dry bags" to garbage bags has been used. Archery season is especially high on the odor free list and some of that gear goes outdoors and in the woods to hang for a time. Does it work? Who knows. I've had deer come up to me after working for 4 hours and not changing as often as I've had them come close with "scent free" clothing on. But I like to think that my methods help! When I saw this Scent control hunting bag from New View Hunting, I knew I had to get one. I mean it's fluorescent orange!First off, it's a really nicely made bag. Big. Orange. A good zipper. Handles. Perfect for the intended use. It's got sort of that dry bag feel. Sturdy but pliable. Well constructed and well thought out.See in one of the pictures a pile of about 3/4 of my overall gear. See another picture where those 2 piles are now in ONE bag! Plus there was room to spare.Awesome bag. I believe it will help prevent my freshly washed and cared for hunting gear from picking up unwanted odors. Also it is handy to keep all that stuff together in one big, easily portable bag.Great stuff. Plus they included a nice note to the purchaser. Go New View!

Smells like a pool float
Not recommended for hunting clothing and scent control. However, does seem like a decent fairly durable bag for storage and camping. Either way, scheduled my return within 15 mins of opening.

Affordable scent control solution!!
I liked that this scent bag is large enough to fit all of my hunting gear. I also liked that it did seem to lock out the smells from the outside which any bear or deer Hunter knows will ruin your chances for a kill! I found the bags to work best by throwing some rosemary , sage , or any spice or herb that grows natural in your area into the bag with your clothes to be most effective . All in all I’m happy with my purchase

Large capacity; well constructed
I got this bag for my husband to use on his hunting trips. He takes his archery hunting very seriously 😳. We have special detergents, dryer sheets, shampoos, soaps, scent disk for the bags…. and the list goes on and on. Even the bags he packs in gets washed in the special detergent 🙄. Now the scent disk he uses smells like straight up woods. That wet leaves, damp dirt woodsy smell 🤮 (they make a girl gag). I normally have to put his bags in plastic bags and tape the top to keep it from stinking up the whole house. I did put one of these disk in this scent control bag just to see how well it holds scent. I was actually impressed at how well it held the odor of the disk into the bag and not allowing hardly any to very little scent escape the bag. I like that this bag was big enough for me to pack everything in except his bibs, and coat. I was able to pack three different sets of base layers (tops and bottoms), pants, shirt, hoodie, three pair of thick wool socks, gloves, gators, and a lined rain coat into the bag. Grant I do use the fold and roll method on packing; fold in half and roll up. This bag is durable with heavy durable straps. The zippers work great with no lag or snags. I am actually very impressed with the quality of this bag for such a cheaper price.

Not Completely Airtight
When I first opened these bags, there was a noticeable plasticy smell to them, like they were off gassing. I have been airing these out for some time and the smell is still there albeit much less. I don't want to put these in drier, especially since the wife uses bounce fabric sheets and the drier has residual bounce smell. Now that the weather is getting hotter, I might try putting these in the cab of my truck to see if I can bake it out. I think the bags will be useful for scent control keeping hunting clothes separate from normal clothes, just need to use some of those dirt scented laundry fabric sheets when storing and transporting hunting clothes. Finally, the design of the zipper prevents this from truly being sealed even when fully closed.
