Lovely plants...
A lovely bundle of plants. Great for any size pond I'd say. Unfortunately they were held up in transit and a couple were too far gone to save... Very good value for money and the fact sheets were brilliant thank you. They really helped me.

OK but some anomalies
I have had mixed results with these. Some of the plants have settled into my new pond and are growing well. Others have simply rotted away and disappeared. I put this down to me making mistakes in planting them, due to the instructions not being very clear - it was hard to tell which plant was which and so to be certain that each was planted as it needed to be. Some of the plants weren't labelled very clearly (e.g. what is 'varieg'?) and so can't be found on the (very general) instruction sheet for planting. Also, some choices of plant are odd - why put a bulrush - specified as 'for large lakes only' - in a medium starter pack? Also, why put a water lily that needs a large round basket in a kit that only has small square baskets? Otherwise, I'd say this kit was OK. The plants arrived alive and packed well enough. If I were making up a kit like this I'd probably put in some hessian squares for convenience. The price would seem good if all the plants had lived and if they'd all been appropriate for the setting for which they were bought.

Who is this for
I'm not sure who is the intended buyer for this pack.I am a first time pond owner, so I thought a "starter pack" would be perfect for me. But it didnt really come with sufficient instructions to let me confidently look after these plants. Some plants had no instructions, and not even a name identification tag that would let me look up instructions. Some did come with instructions (water depth etc). My 4 months of pond-owning experience now tells me that the instructions might be suitable for a mature plant, but young plants that have been through the trauma of the postal system might need different care.I would recommend this pack to an experienced pond owner replanting a new pond.

Could be better
No details of the plants supplied, so guessing that they are all marginal.Only one was named, and only one I could recognise as a water Lilly (I think), but that isn’t a marginal plant. The soil supplied was adequate, but unfortunately, floated away with the plants when placed in the pond.Would suggest buying grow or stones to anchor the plants and soil. The plants have been in the pond for a few weeks now, but only the lolly and the one with little blue flowers seem to be taking.I’ll wait to see how they establish over the coming weeks.Delivery was quick.

Some good some not so good.
Arrived well packaged, some of the plants are difficult to identify as they have no identification or leaves. Most of them are now growing well however the Typha, Iris and Grass look a bit sorry for themselves and I am not sure they will survive. The lilies, water mint and water forget me are growing well, obviously if the other plants shoot all the better. The pots and compost give plenty of planting space.Update 8/7/20The rush has rotted but most others are growing well in most cases. The juncus grass finally produced shoots too.

plants came eventually it 2 bartches they are tiny and very fragile
overall a little disappointed with the service provided. I accept the COVID 19 has impacted, but this was errors in items sent rather than delays, but it was over 2 weeks before it was corrected. Very pleasant lady on phone but they were for whatever reason very confused. Items did arrive eventually, as I said very small and sad looking. All planted up as soon as delivered good growth from three plants noted the rest still looking sad. If they burst into life I will update feedback

No instructions!
Arrived really quickly. Had eight pots and compost. However, there are no instructions on how deep they need to be and no names on the plants! We are complete beginners, so some instructions would have been incredibly useful! We have muddled through and fingers crossed they will thrive on our new pond!
