Put some infinity's in these and placed them in the back of 87 nissan hardbody xcab...WOW!!! With 6.5 in the front. Lots of bass!! w/o an amp yet. Can wait for amp...

Despite the other bad review I bought this because I believed a speaker box really couldn’t be that bad. It’s just a box.I was right. The box worked out great. I got very full sound with Pioneer speakers in it. I didnt detect any air leakage. My only complaint was the tinned wire tips had a very poor solder on it. I couldn’t get it to stick at first, so I simply cut off the tinned wire tips, stripped the wire and tinned it myself. Worked fine after that. The wire it comes with is good quality stranded copper wire, it was just the tips that were bad.

These are pretty low profile which is exactly what I needed for my small trunk space. I had to notch out the 6x9 opening somewhat as my speakers would not fit but that was easy with a jigsaw.

Nice enclosures for 6x9 speakers. Easy fit, solidly built, really like them. We stuffed them with more insul than they came with just in case.

Great buyVery well constructed

The boxes are carpeted and look good in my 1980 Corvette. This photo makes them look bigger than they are because of the camera wide angle and there's little space in the rear of a C3 Vette anyway. But one thing for sure is the boxes enhance the bass in my 6x9 inch speakers, which adds to my already installed 10 inch subwoofers. Glad I bought them.

I replaced some I already had and I could immediately hear the difference as soon as the first few bass notes played. I understand 6x9's are not intended for much bass, but you need a little bit if you don't own a subwoofer. I think the filler they use made the difference.
