I purchased the brown curtain in the 5ft Wide x 8ft Tall size for a standard width hallway (36”). It’s literally perfect! I put this curtain on a tension rod. The curtain rings fit with plenty room to spare and move easily to open and close off the hallway.If you have a 36” wide hallway, the 5” wide option is ideal. It allows the curtain to hang properly with a little extra fabric. I don’t recommend going any shorter width wise. This curtain blocks light with ease. I imagine if you stick to the darker colors, you’ll easily achieve the darkening effect. The brown is not see through or sheer. It will provide adequate privacy when closed. It doesn’t block noise. I’m not sure why anyone would think a piece of fabric would block noise?! It’s fabric!So far I’m pleased with the quality. It’s minimalist with a slight sheen. I personally don’t think it looks cheap but it doesn’t look high end either. It’s inexpensive and performs as it should for my purposes as a divider. I recommend and couldn’t be more thrilled with my purchase!!

Beautiful fabric, greyish white is a nice more white than grey color. I have white walls with a hint of blue and it looks great. Very heavy, smooth fabric with well sewn grommets and hems.

Keeps the sun out & keeps the room dark!!
