I had no urgent use for this camera, but was fascinated with the technology. (Okay, I also wanted to look into my outer ear. It felt as if I had some unknown type of roughness--it didn't.) You need to download the app, from the Apple Store in my case. The only thing was that when I searched USee (the name of the app) the app I wanted was the second one listed. Why do they do that?Anyway, as soon as I downloaded and opened the app it told me that the camera wasn't plugged in. I plugged it in with the supplied cord, and voila, the camera was working, bright and sharp.Good product at a great price. I recommend it even if you're looking for a interesting electronic toy.

Have an iphone 14 with lightning plug, I got an adapter. The download app from the app store was a no brainer. It works just fine. For the price if this stops working, I'll just get another one.

This is a great little borescope. It functions as needed. It also has several little attachments to the camera which is neat. Image quality it good as well & I've never ran outta cord length. The cord itself is stiff enough to hold whatever shape you put it into. It's plug & play with the exception of an app you need to download. Great inexpensive tool to add to my collection 👍.

I bought it to use with my Android phone (USBC connector), but the camera includes a Lightning adapter so it also works on my wife's iPhone. I use it at work to grab serial numbers so I don't have to rip desks apart, and we've used it to look inside drop ceilings and walls, searching for wires. It has a small light, but in really dark spots we needed an additional lamp to see what we were doing.Note that you have to install the Useeplus app to use it; it does not work with the phone's built-in camera app. However, the app will export pictures to your phone's picture library.

Nice camera, but don’t use internally, parts can break off as the bowel narrows.

This is truly a handy tool for anyone.. Sooner or later you will benefit from seeing behind , underneath or around tight corners.. Simple plug and play operation. The recording / pictures is maintained on your phone.

I have a Samsung S22, scanned the qr code to download the app, and plugged the camera in. App doesn't ask for any weird permissions, it is a simple version of a regular camera app. It is quick, and saves photos and videos in its own folder under DCIM so other apps can access them.The minimum focal distance of the camera is (to my delight) very close, less than .75". It doesn't get blurry at distances father either. I will say though, that at distances farther than a couple inches, the light ring around the camera is not enough light for a good picture quality.I wasn't planning to use the attachments, but tried them anyway. The hook does not block too much of the frame, you can see around it while using it. The magnet however blocks the camera almost entirely. The mirror is ok but not perfect. If you rotate it correctly, most of the image frame and light will reflect thru the mirror, but not all of it.I used this to inspect the inside of a cylinder thru the spark plug hole, and it worked great for what I needed. I'm keeping it on hand as a general mechanics tool.
