Women's Trail Trekking Pole

I went on a hike with a group and one of my Trekking Poles kept collapsing. This could be dangerous on a mountain. Other hikers had Black Diamond. One hiker pointed out that the twist locks that I had can give way, as mine did, and recommended the Black Diamond with its more secure locks. It cost more than my original poles but safety is important. I also like the fact that this is a woman's size. I'm 5'1" and unisex rarely works for me. I would feel very comfortable recommending this to other hikers.

These will be perfect for hiking and collapse so that they can be easily packed for travel. They are lightweight compared to other poles, designed for women, and sturdy. I have yet to put them through their paces, but I anticipate from reading reviews and the quality of the poles that they will last and work well on various terrain. I did purchase the rubber tips separately since these are needed for hikes on slippery surfaces such as rocks near coastlines. These are competitively priced on Amazon--thanks!

These poles were a lifesaver on my recent camino de Santiago. Like any other trekking poles, their sharp tips would get stuck in the crevices between pavers and cobbles in Spain, but they provided a margin of safety on rough trails and reduced stress on my joints. They never collapsed or bent, and were easily packed in my checked luggage when unlocked and nested.Negative: the plastic saucer-shaped guards would not stay on when the poles were used on hard surfaces.

Bought these for my wife as we travel to places with uneven pavement. They fold small enough to easily pack and made walking a breeze. Would highly recommend to anyone needing an assist for confident walking. They look cool as well

Started using these poles for hiking in the mountains. Don't know why I waited so long! They really save on the wear and tear on your knees. Very light to carry. Handles are comfortable and the polls retract small enough to fit in my backpack. Love them!

I have used these on all of our hiking trips since our purchase, and they are GREAT!!! They are very easy to use, durable, and slide down to a very small size easy for packing or carrying with you!

These poles are easy to adjust and they are Strong. They are also Light and very comfortable. Would highly recommend. Buy tip protectors too. I am a small woman and they are perfect for me.

I use these regularly and appreciate them more each time. They are proportioned for a woman, very sturdy and have comfortable handle grips...and are a nice purple and teal combination.

This is my third set of walking poles and there is much to like about them. They fold up very compactly and so are easy to put in a suitcase. They are reasonably light, and have an extended grip to allow for an instant repositioning of the hands when going up a short steep climb. Best of all, the external locks are so much easier to adjust and reliable to use than the twist locks used on my earlier poles. I am very happy with this purchase.
